I had a tummy tuck with liposuction in lower back and I am absolutely blown away by the results! Dr. Thao was very straightforward and answered my questions with confidence! I think the main thing that stuck out for me was how excited and enthusiastic Dr. Thao was to do the surgery and the best part was, I had no pain after the surgery! Sounds unreal I know but seriously, no pain! It’s been 1 month and I look great, I even went back to have lip injections!

Thank you! It was worth the money for sure. He is rated #1 plastic surgery Doctor & very well known for his aggressive tummy tucks! I don’t have before pic myself but I believe Dr. Thao will be putting my before & after pictures on his, Woodbury Plastic Surgery site. I will check to see if they’re up yet & post the before one if I see it.

I would love to see them! I'm having my tummy tuck with a highly rated surgeon next weekend and get anything very nervous but excited! I hope you have a great outcome like you! Any tips for afterwards? Did you happen to have the Exparel, the long acting aesthetic injected?

You’re going to look awesome!! I’m not sure if I had the Exparel or not. I know when I woke up, I felt nothing & was dressing myself & walking just fine. Doc had to remind me to walk slumped over so I didn’t rip the stitches. They were very surprised I had no pain. My recommendation would be, if you have a recliner or a bed that reclines with remote control, use that to sleep on because it will be difficult to getting out of bed for awhile. I also used a heating pad at night & set right on my stomach. Also, take a muscle relaxer as much as it’s prescribed or your muscle will contract & that might be painful.

Great tips, thank you! I am renting a power lift recliner for the first two weeks so that should be helpful. And I like the idea of the heating pad, especially for my back! I hope you have a continued wonderful recovery!

Would love to see some before pictures if you have any! Hope you're still continuing to heal well! I'm amazed still that you didn't have any pain when you woke up. I paid extra for the Exparel injection and I still needed pain meds on top of that when I woke up!
