Tummy Tuck and Lipo

I am 52 and put a lot of thought in what results I was looking for and if this surgery was for me. I absolutely love my tummy tuck and lipo results. During the first two week recovery I was not certain I had made the right choice with having surgery, however by the end of the 2nd week I was feeling much better and absolutely loved the results I saw. I am 10 weeks post-op and am continually seeing improvements. II most definitely would go to Dr. Gallaher again for surgery. His staff made me feel very comfortable and were always helpful during the many times I called with questions. I feel better than I have since I was in my early 30’s. I just wish I had done this 10 years ago.

Thanks for posting. You look great! It seems like that two week mark, post-surgery, is a turnaround for a lot of women. Are you seeing further changes as time goes on? I'm 54, and seriously considering having a tt. I don't want to diet and lose weight: I have done so before, but I always find it again. At my age, I'm not looking to rule the beach in a bikini. I just want to feel better about my (twins-mom) belly. I'm a little plump, but I'm also a good home baker and cook, and love preparing and enjoying food with loved ones. So, at 5'3" and 155 lbs, I'm nowhere near my "ideal" weight. Not sure I'll find a surgeon locally who'll respect my wishes & support my goals. Anyway, I'd love to read more about what you're noticing along the way. Happy flat side to you!

Your story is identical to mine. I am still seeing small results as time goes on and honestly if I stay in this size range I have the results I wanted. I am not dieting as well however the surgery has motivated me to eat a little more conservative but still having everything I want. You will not regret moving forward with this procedure. Good luck!

Thanks for this lovely response. :) Please do post again when you feel ready to. I have so many questions! I wonder how differently clothes fit you, now? It would delight me to see a "before" shot of you in clothes at an "occasion", and a recent "after", (edited faces, of course, if you wish to retain privacy) with any observations you have about how you're feeling & looking. All this to say, thank you so, so much for sharing your experience and your thoughts! Here's hoping your healing continues as it's been going, (so well!) and that you continue to feel great about your results.

Thank you for sharing. I'm 43 and considering this procedure or a full mommy make over. Like yourself, I don't want to be the "bikini beach slayer " but would just like to be able to wear nice clothes that don't make me feel like grandma. I also don't want to wait any longer and think I should have done this years ago. I'm so happy that your surgery was a success, I hope that you continue to have a great recovery...be blessed and thank you again. You look phenomenal

You look awesome! Did you have muscle repair? I have lots of loose skin and looking for just a skin only TT. I am 56.

I have never felt better!! I have no regrets. Not looking to be a bikini babe just hoping to move and feel better. Down 22 lbs since 1 month before surgery. My only regret is I waited so long. I am still in baggy clothes just due to habit but I am trying new tighter options

Old habits hard to break!!

I have always worn baggy clothes which I find myself having a difficult time breaking his habit. I’m trying slowly to get out of this habit because I feel like I look good and more form fitting clothes.
