I am 7 days post op tummy tuck. My surgery was July 18th. I got one of my drains out today. The other one may be out next week. I am the biggest wuss when it comes to pain, but this has not been bad. Day 3 was uncomfortable but no bad days so far.

Thanks for sharing and I hope you continue to keep the rest of updated on your journey. I plan to be on the flat side with some perky girls on top (MM) on 8/8. I had a 2nd pre-op consult today. I'm still very very nervous and as a result gave myself a headache (extra strength Excedrin this eve). I've never had any kind of surgery but with so much info that I've learned from others know I will be ok.

forgot to add I think I'm a "wuss" also...don't know for certain yet most pain I've experience is labor pain (no epidural) for 20 hrs. 35 yrs. ago!

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been searching for this image (TT with no lipo) for weeks! I can finally see what my results may look like as I have opted out of lipo on flanks. I am soon to have my surgery, mommy makeover, and am so excited that wish the day would hurry. After reading so many stories TT with lipo, I thought it wouldn’t be possible to have a contour waist without the lipo, but you have proved me wrong(!) so grateful for your story, thank you. And you look great!!

I was looking through my pictures as it's been awhile since I've updated and I really need to update. I am still losing and like they say you dont begin to see your results until later. I am 4 months post OP and truly loving the results even more. I do believe you can get a contour waist by 1. Having your PS do an extended TT and also wearing a good faja or waist trainer. I would wear mine 24/7 the first 3 months, switching between spanx and different compression garments. Also I noticed my torso is shorter, not sure what that means though, but feel free to ask away. I'd love to answer any questions you may have.

Here is a picture 1 week post op. The pain was not bad, I do think I got the block so that may have been why it wasnt bad. Day 3 was uncomfortable but other than that it was ok.

Hi, just curious what is the "block". Do you mean a nerve block?

Yes. Its put in while you are still under. But I tell you it was awesome because my pain level was probably a 3 out of 10 at worst over the first week. My pain was about average a 2. I say 3 the one day because i just felt uncomfortable, possibly because i was experiencing cabin fever

Wow, that is really good to know. I'm scheduled for 8/8 for a MM and my biggest fear is the pain during recovery. During my initial consult with my PS I asked about the fanny pack with the pain meds and he said he did something different which was to use pain medication under the skin and it sounds this may be what he was referring to. I bet you this....I will most CERTAINLY remind him of what we discussed and that this 'nerve block' is what I CERTAINLY want! I hope and pray that I have the results that you have. I realize we are all different but you an I (based on your b/f pics) appear to have the same body types/build in the mid area. Thanks again for sharing!

I got my second drain removed and the stitches out of my belly button. I was afraid the drain removal may hurt. To my surprise it didnt. It just felt weird. Also you are still numb so you dont feel much of anything. I have been sleeping in my bed now, still more able to sleep on my stomach. It just feels weird. Also I've lost 10lbs. 5 from the surgery and 5 from not having an appetite, so when I do eat it's usually healthy.

My Dr. Is here in Macon, Ga. My healing is going well. Biggest challenge is standing straight up. In the morning I'm ok but by the end of the day my stomach muscles are so tight I'm about 90% straight
