Tummy tuck and Lipo

I had my tummy tuck done on May 28, 2019. I also had my thighs ,stomach and back liposuction. I don’t like how my tummy tuck is healing it has been tearing my skin. I have a hole it’s bulging when I go to the bathroom to urinate. I have bulging from the incision area which is so discomforting. It feels like the doctor cut too much of my skin off. I feel it was not in my best interest to have a tummy tuck done that he could have gave me the results I want it with just Liposuction. I came in to his office after researching for about three years. I had already had liposuction before where it left me with some irregularities in my abdomen area so I expressed to him I wanted the Lumps from the previous liposuction to be corrected. I also had a hernia he expressed to me that a tummy tuck with LIPO would be me the best results rather than just have liposuction and that’s why I went with a tummy tuck considering his expertise. My thighs are still hard from liposuction and Im unable to stand straight up because my skin stars to pull apart. I’m miserable

I’m so sorry to read about you being miserable. I hate reading reviews where the person who went through all this is so unhappy afterwards. My doctor is actually friendly with the doctor you used and was going to refer me to him for my bum. I know he is well known and is supposed to be very good but I don’t think I’ve seen many good reviews here. Have you talk to him about what’s happening? What does he say? Does he offer any Solutions? How many post op check up shave you had? Do you have any pictures that are not so close up? You are pretty early in the healing phase but if you cannot stand up without your skin separating that is a problem.

Do you have any updates? And more before/after pics? It’s hard to tell exactly what I’m looking at. I hope that you are doing better now.

Before TT

Regret1990
Before TT I didn’t have loose skin and my goal was not to have a flat stomach it was only to get the lumps out and to have my hernia removed. I had three C-sections, my stomach looked better than a lot of women. I had no scratch marks on my stomach my skin was still tight. The only problem I explain to the surgeon was that my previous Lipo left me with a lumps on my stomach and that was my main concern and to have my hernia repaired. I don’t understand why he felt that a TT would give me better results than just doing Lipo at this point I wish I would have just kept the lumps instead of being left with this ugly scar and painful experience.

Hey how is it going? Has your recovery improved?
June 21, 2019
I'm sorry for your angst! I sure do hope you can find some treatment for recovery.

Wow. I am so sorry this happened to you. It does seem like because you didn't have loose skin that there is no stretch so your skin was already so tight that it is ripping because no elasticity. I hope it heals to where you can feel somewhat better. He needs to get beat.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I know it’s not much consolation but I’ve seen lots of women on here with major issues or necrosis and when everything finally heals, most of them still look amazing and the scar is not as noticeable as you think. I hope you recover nicely! Keep us posted.
