Life Changing Experience - They treated me like family and I am forever grateful for my results

My journey started on January 15, 2019 went I took my first trip to Tijuana with my daughter and husband. My daughter and I had Bariatric Sleeve surgery with Dr. Luis Cervantes. Our surgery was on January 15, 2019. Once I reached goal I want to have some of the loose skin removed. I was referred to Dr. Albert Enrique Perez Banuelos by Dr. Cervantes Team Support Group.

My husband and I flew into San Diego and was picked up by Nurse Lety, checked into our hotel and I was taken to my first appointment with Dr. Alberto. Nurse Lety is such a caring and compassionate person that it made the experience unforgettable. Dr. Alberto and Nurse Lety spoke English very well so communication was very easy. Dr. Alberto is a competent surgeon and I felt very relaxed and in very capable hands. I went into the surgery with very little fear or worry.

I was 65 years old at the time and had been overweight most of my life. My top weight was 238 pounds my breast and stomach were very stretched my skin very thin. My upper arms, my breast and my hanging stomach was the areas that bothered me the most. I asked Dr. Alberto to include my arms in the procedure. He would not add the additional stress of more surgery due to his concern for my age and my health. I had a breast lift that he intended to add small implants and a 360 tummy tuck. I was in surgery for over 8 hours. As it turned out my skin was so thin that it would not cover the implants correctly. He did an amazing job to reconstruct and lift. The pain was tremendous but well worth the procedure.

I was treated very well at the Body Art Surgical Center. The team stayed on top of my pain medication and handle my nausea. I have never been cared for as well even in states as well as I was both times in Tijuana. My one on one care in the hotel was more than I could have asked for. Dr. Alberto and Nurse Lety taught me how to clean and tape incisions so that I went home competent I could manage myself. My local Doctor that took out the remaining stitches was very impressed with the work that had been done.

I am planning on returning this year and have my upper arms done and some work on my face. I weigh 132 pounds and can get into a size 6 jeans. I never dreamed that would be possible for me.
