It’s honestly hard to put into words how much this surgery has changed my life, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone who might be considering it.
I struggled with my weight for most of my life and went through years of yo-yo dieting and disordered eating. Over time, I did a lot of work to heal my relationship with food and with my body. Once I finally felt like I was in a healthy place mentally and had built consistent, balanced habits, I knew I was ready to consider surgery.
I also had four C-sections, which left me with a very misshapen abdomen and a lot of extra skin that I carried for years. I had lived with it for so long that I didn’t even realize how much I had adapted my daily life around it—how I dressed, how I moved, how I felt about myself. It held me back in ways I didn’t fully understand until it was gone.
I had an FDL abdominoplasty and monsplasty with Dr. Kayastha, and the results have been truly life-changing. Without the extra skin, I feel amazing. I feel comfortable in my body in a way I never have before. I feel confident, healthy, and free.
Dr. Kayastha and his entire team—especially Amina—were incredible from the very first appointment. From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm, kind, and welcoming. I never once felt embarrassed or judged, even though it’s such a vulnerable situation. Dr. Kayastha took his time answering every question I had and made sure I understood everything at every step. I always felt cared for and supported.
They also made sure I had everything I needed before surgery and throughout recovery. Another thing I really appreciated was the transparency—everything was included in one cost, which made the whole process much less stressful.
What I’m most grateful for is how this experience has given me a new level of confidence and peace in my own body.
