Can't wait to tell my story. Dr. Kortesis and his staff have my total trust. God is so amazing to have connected me with them. It's so comforting to have found a team such as them. Jordan, Kim, his surgical nurse (so embarrassed not remembering her not name) and Dr. Kortesis are so real, genuinely concerned and easy to talk to.

I'm so excited and so nervous. I've wanted this so long. Tomorrow I leave for Huntsville, NC to arrive for surgery on Monday morning. Dr. Kortesis is so amazing and so sweet, I can't wait. I've prayed and I trust God and Dr. Kortesis.

Today is the day. 61 years young, 6 natural birth children. I've been waiting for this day so long. I'm so ready to feel good about me. Don't get me wrong, I love myself, but years of issues and medications and poor habits created someone I didn't feel good or comfortable with.
Dr. Kortesis and his staff are about to ...... give me me back. Expecting pain and a recovery process. God I trust you. Thank you for another chance.

It went so well. I don't even remember the first day. I was a sore and hat to take it slow at first. By day 4 or 5, I was on my way to healing. I was out of work for 8 days. Including 1 weekend. I missed two Sundays from church. Once my drains came out, it was great. God is so awesome, and Dr. Kortesis is so gifted.

I'm great. My scar is thin, and low. Healed perfectly. I am still dealing with some swelling. I was scared of my belly button in the beginning, thought it would hurt, but it healed perfectly too. And its so cute.

I am so excited about the new me. Dr. Kortesis is amazing.
I will be going to see him on the 25th and I understand that they will take new pictures of me. I am going to post my before and I don't know what took me so long. I was fed up with diets that did me no good. Dr. Kortesis was so sweet and so truthful with me. I'm truly happy and only await for better, because it's not over yet. It's only going to get better. I'll be back with new pictures soon.
