My Journey to a Flatter Tummy

I had my consultation with Dr. Schaffer on March 15, 2022. The process went super smooth. I was sent paperwork in advance to fill out and bring to my appt. The facility was beautiful and clean. I only sat in the waiting room about 15mins before being called the consulting room. I instructed to get undressed down to under clothes. Dr Schaffer came in and examined my stomach and told me I was good candidate for surgery. He answered all my questions about my hypertension and anemia and instructed me on what to do be healthy and ready by surgery. He was very kind and didn't rush. Afterwards I spoke with the financial coordinator..she was really nice. I knew then I wanted to have my surgery done there so I went ahead and paid my deposit, and booked my date for April 29th. I have my pre-op appt prior to that. I will update again after my pre-op appt.

Pre-Op Appt

I'm a couple of days late with this update but, I had my pre-op appt on April 14th, and everything went smoothly. I took my pre-op photos, filled out all of my paperwork, and made my final payment, and was sent to go do my labs. My blood pressure was a little too high so I was advised to have that under control before my surgery date (fingers crossed). I have less than 2 weeks to go before I make it to the flat side.

I'm scheduled to have my TT w/lipo to the flanks on tomorrow at 1pm. I'm super nervous but excited. After work today I spent the rest of the evening cleaning my house and setting up my supplies. Can't eat anything ather midnight so I'm about to drink a protein shake, and call it a night.

Everything went well. I was in pain the first 2 days because I opted out of the exparel shot, nothing unbearable though. I'm on day 3 of my recovery and I've been moving around basically doing alot of stuff on my own. Im still very swollen. The only annoying this is the binder. It's itchy and it digs into my skin. I hope you have a successful and easy going recovery.
