How are you feeling since you're 6 months post op? Do you like your results? My surgery with Dr. Ashruf is on Dec 4th and I am super nervous about my results.

Day 2 post op

I had my tummy tuck with Lipo of the flanks on Tuesday. Today is Thursday and I’m feeling pretty good. The worst so far was last night. I was in so much pain I was shaking. The pain was mostly from my lower back. Since I was told I had to walk hunched over. I’m not using hard pain medication only ibuprofen. It’s definitely helping. I hear that day 3 Is the hardest but honestly I feel like I’m improving. I will post pics soon. The doc said that he will remove my drains once the output is less than 25. Fingers crossed at my next visit it will be that low. I’m a little swollen and bruised but overall I feel like it was a success.

Glad that you're in good spirits! Some days, it will hard to muster:( Overall I found the back pain to be the worst part, but regular doses of ibuprofren and Tylenol did the trick.
At Day 20, I'm able to stand (almost) straight and so the back pain is greatly reduced. Your postop pic looks great, and I look forward to seeing your progress!!!
Hope you are healing well

itching

I had my tummy tuck with Lipo on May 1st. Everything is going well. Pain is tolerable. But I started to have severe itching. It started late in the day and just got worse as the evening went on. I took Benadryl it helped for about a hour now but the itching returned. It’s so bad that I can’t sleep. I know that itching usually means that things are healing. However I haven’t read anything about itching with a tummy tuck. So did anyone out here have this terrible itching. If so do you know of anything I can do to calm it down???
