2 weeks post op
I’m 2 weeks post op today. I got my drains out yesterday. I’m feel pretty good. My recovery wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I have lost a few more pounds. I am extremely pleased with my results. I actually have a few curves now. I’m still swollen. But looking Good. To me anyway!!!
Day 2 post op
I had my tummy tuck with Lipo of the flanks on Tuesday. Today is Thursday and I’m feeling pretty good. The worst so far was last night. I was in so much pain I was shaking. The pain was mostly from my lower back. Since I was told I had to walk hunched over. I’m not using hard pain medication only ibuprofen. It’s definitely helping. I hear that day 3 Is the hardest but honestly I feel like I’m improving. I will post pics soon. The doc said that he will remove my drains once the output is less than 25. Fingers crossed at my next visit it will be that low. I’m a little swollen and bruised but overall I feel like it was a success.
itching
I had my tummy tuck with Lipo on May 1st. Everything is going well. Pain is tolerable. But I started to have severe itching. It started late in the day and just got worse as the evening went on. I took Benadryl it helped for about a hour now but the itching returned. It’s so bad that I can’t sleep. I know that itching usually means that things are healing. However I haven’t read anything about itching with a tummy tuck. So did anyone out here have this terrible itching. If so do you know of anything I can do to calm it down???
