Amazing, Smooth and Safe Experience

WORTH IT

My whole experience from start to end was 10/10. There is not a single fault I can raise. Speaking to my dedicated coordinator from the Uk to flying out and being met by professional drivers and translator at the hospital. The whole experience before my surgery was so smooth it made it calming and relaxing to know I was going to under go 3 procedures, a hernia repair, muscle repair and tummy tuck; all for medical reasons after having given birth and developing hernia and split muscle.

I met with Dr Murat in the morning which gave me the chance and opportunity to discuss any issues/concerns as well as meet the man behind the name as well as the person who was going to change my life around for the best.

The surgery was done within a blink of an eye and it was back to my private room where I was comfortable and in my own private space. I had nurses checking in on me as well as each time I needed assistance they would be at hand within seconds. The after care was beyond perfect. Travelling alone and worried about needing that love and attention you feel only close friends or family can give I was totally wrong. The nurses gave me full attention and care like I was their own so it didn’t feel lonely at any time.

The package covered everything from transportation to staff to surgery to after care. It was definitely worth it 100%. I would recommend The Clinique any day and Dr Murat is the man to trust your body with.

Hi, I’m thinking of travelling but I’m very nervous of doing it alone. What hotel did you stay in & how long was stay? Any information you can provide would be helpful! Thank you
If you have Instagram then get in touch with the_clinique or drmurat. You will be then in contact with a coordinator who will discuss and go through what procedures you are after, I also shared pictures and I filled out a medical form. My package covered everything other than flight and main meals. I had airport transfer to hospital, 2 day hospital stay, 6 day hotel stay, all with transfer and 24hr nurse care. - hospital have own nurses and doctors but when your transferred to hotel you have a main translator and nurses are staff from The Clinique who helps you with the transfer to hotel and they check on you regularly. All nurses have your details and contact you so you have their number and there is 24hr care. At the hotel when the nurses start shift they come to see you and make sure you have had medication, if you require any assistance etc. - personally it was amazing. I can not find a single fault with my experience. I am post 6 weeks tomorrow and still in contact with them if I have any concerns and questions. Highly recommend them. Dr Murat was brilliant too. You can travel alone. I went alone and had surgery but on my return back I had someone fly out to assist me back only as I wasn’t sure how I would be. I would also say when you check in for your travel back home, defo take travel assistance, the airport is too big to talk so much and I had them wheelchair me to my seat literally which was very helpful. My lunch/dinner bill came upto £50 for the time I was in hotel which isn’t bad. Breakfast is included in package I had. Hope that helps! Good luck with it all if you go ahead. (Also if you have small kids etc then defo think it through as you will need ALOT of childcare help. Ny partner was amazing and had them for my whole time away and when bqck with recovery. I also did nursery for my younger 2. I go back to work mid November as I had maternity and a lot of leave to take before I return which has been good for recovery and no stress of I need to return soon. A lot of people go back to work after 4 weeks, personally I still need that time so I’m glad I have a few weeks to still go).
Thank you! I have gone ahead and booked. My mum is going to travel with me. I booked direct through Dr Murat’s coordinator & am staying 3 nights in hospital & 5 in hotel Wanda. I’m super nervous but excited to finally get this done!
Aww wish you all the best. you will be fine honestly. With your mum it will be extra support and you won’t get bored with the company. (I did take a foldable walking stick), used it for my walks as you have to walk few hours after surgery with nurse assistance then alone. It’s just good to have. The nurses kept asking why I was using it but when you’re walking and you loose balance or need extra support it was useful. - defo get wheelchair assistance on your return back! The airports too big to walk and it was so helpful. X
Thank you! What was the clinic you were in & what hotel did you stay in? I’m worried about the aftercare!
BHT Clinic in Istanbul, it’s around 30 minutes from the airport.

Aftercare was at Ramada Golden Horn which was about 25 minutes from the clinic.

Honestly I was too, especially as I traveled alone but the team were amazing. I had my phone connected to WhatsApp and would message/call the nurses for help in my room.

The hotel is full of aftercare patients from all other surgeries and clinics. So it was very normal to walk around with drains and pjs for breakfast. Staff and locals are use to it too and they are all really helpful.
