Greatest Plastic Surgeon in DR
WORTH IT
I’ll start from the beginning (only because I know how hard it is to pick and trust a doctor from mere reviews)
When I was researching for a doctor (2017-2018) my main concern was to find a doctor that:
1. Gave me natural results
2. With stellar bedside manners
3. Reputable and Board Certified.
I did a very extensive research on the three doctors I was interested in (Drs.Giudicelli, Yili De Los Santos & Tania Medina)
I sent out pictures to all three of the doctors and received a reply within 24 hours from Dr Giudicelli.
I was very impressed by the level of professionalism and detail put into my quote and loved the fact that I had follow up questions and all my questions were answered within just a couple hours that same day, so just with his customer service skills he was winning me over already!
So, I started to become obsessed with him and digging deeper, he won me over with his customer service first, then all his amazing reviews about his bedside manner and the RH he works with (which is AMAZING, by the way!), I liked the fact that his dad is also a plastic surgeon and President of the Plastic Surgeon Association in DR, and lastly - and very important - no casualties as of March 2018 (which was the last time I researched)
I decided to go with Dr. Giudicelli and sent out my deposit to secure my date (06/04/18), I received a suggested list of things I should buy and to do list for the months to follow. I did just as told and quickly my date by, a couple weeks before my scheduled trip I received a message from Dr Giudicelli’s assistant with instructions for the day of my arrival and to schedule all the blood work and such but since I have family in DR so I decided not to get picked up from the airport by their driver instead Id meet them the next morning after my arrival.
I arrived in DR friday night and had all my exams scheduled for Saturday morning. Saturday morning came and I arrived at CECIP for exams, have to say the clinic is very clean, everything is organized and at the time I arrived was very nice and quiet. Everything was done pretty fast: blood work and urine were done by the nurse then I headed to the 2nd floor for Xrays, had to wait like 20 minutes to be seen (first come first serve) but then the exam was also pretty quick. At this point I still hadnt met Dr. Giudicelli or his assistant but I was in constant communication with his assistant via text the entire time.
I slept at CECIP Sunday (my surgery was scheduled for Monday morning) I had my own private room with AC, TV, Bathroom and sofa. The next day early (like 7AM) I FINALLY met Dr. Giudicelli! He came in with his warm smile and that comforting feeling.
He had the pictures I sent him on his iPad, he asked me again what I wanted, I told him I also wanted a breast reduction but he explained it wasnt a good idea to do so many procedures all together, he talked to me about realistic expectations, the incisions, healing time and down time.
About 30 minutes went by when the nurse came by with the famous blue pill and shortly another person with a wheel chair to take me to the operation room, I remember I was talking like crazy to all the nurses in the room and then everything went blank! Like 4 hours passed and I was back in my room with no complications, no major blood loss, on the flat side and high as kyte, so in other words - perfect condition!!
Dr Giudicelli came by to check in on me a couple times, I remember asking him if he took out all th extra skin and he laughed and asked me to look down, he is so sweet and attentive!
His assistant also stopped by a couple of times to check in on me so I was happy to experience first hand the great bedside manner all the other girls talked about.
The next morning I was picked up by Ana from RH and taken to my private room with its own bathroom, wifi, AC where i’d be staying for 10 days post op. I received excellent care from them, too. They made sure I felt at home, fed me lunch, breakfast, dinner and snacks, I received all the massages in the RH and left happy to have met such genuine, caring people.
I stayed for a whole month so I was able to see Dr. Giudicelli 4 times for a check up, him and his staff were always very welcoming and he took it upon himself to make me feel comfortable and crack up a joke here and then making me forget about the pain.
I am almost 1 yr post op and I check in with him from time to time and he still remains humble and caring, he responds just as fast as before and is just as enthusiastic. He is my number 1 hype man, lol.
I am planning a 2nd round for more lipo and breast reduction and without a doubt Ill be going back to Dr. G to let him finish his masterpiece! :)
