I just wanted to add some pics, I didn’t take many off process but so far so good. Still wearing faja 3 months post op. Most likely will keep wearing it until my year is up. I hear that most people still have swelling but you have to make sure you stay compressed at all times.. your faja will be your best friend so invest in a couple of them. It has been an emotional experience but it’s worth it.

Dr. Ortega was great, did a fabulous job on my tummy tuck however, lets talk about the staff and spectrum as a whole, very unprofessional, not on the same accord with one another... they treat women like cattle, seemed like a meat market while I was there, women were bloody and in pain slumped over chairs without proper support. I Was scared as fudge! Had it not been for how comfortable he made me feel before surgery I would’ve pulled out!!! Also post op and doctor Ortega weren’t on the same accord, he said one thing and they said something completely different for care, and snapped on his nurse when I informed him what I was being told something completely different from what he said. Dr. Ortega does great work but maybe he should start his own practice or go to another facility. Ps ladies please get Lymphatic Drainage massages three days after getting your tummy tuck it will really help with your drainage so your stomach isn’t rock hard. Good Luck!

Omg! I had to check the name on this comment to make sure I didn't post it! I had MMO June 2020, ETT, Lipo of the flanks, BA. I absolutely loved Dr Ortega but every way you felt, I did too!!! Spectrum staff is terrible. It was dried up blood on the table and I told the MA and she said, "That's not blood!" I said, "It ain't ketchup!" How about apologize, then clean it up. I did not feel cared for at all. I told a friend I felt like I was cattle!! In my post opp appt 2 days after, I was weak, hot and felt I was gonna faint in the waiting room. My friend told the staff and they closed the glass. He had to knock again and ask if someone could take my vitals or give me some water. Their was no where to sit, staff payed you no attention, people were advocating for their love ones because staff didn't give a d@! I would never recommend anyone go there!
Yes I wouldn’t recommend anyone go with spectrum!!! I had a horrible time there. I love my stomach but absolutely hate the facility... happy you had great results as well. But as far as spectrum NEVER AGAIN!!!
Thanks so much for your review! I'm scheduled with him in December, but I'm scheduled for his private practice and not Spectrum. How long did you have to stay in Miami? If you're not from Miami
I stayed 12 days in a hotel.. remember to get your massages after the second day of surgery, book your appointments before surgery. He will also tell you this as well. Good luck
I stayed longer then most because spectrum was very unprofessional and I wanted to make sure I was okay, draining properly and had multiple massages before I traveled back home.
If his private practice is IBody that's just the surgery center. That's the same one I went 2.
Where is his private practice
I came mon June 22, 2020, got surgery Tues June 23 and left Tues June 30. So 8 days.
