Great Staff and Procedure, Recovery is Smooth Sailing

I had a circumferential abdominoplasty with muscle repair, and lipo of the chest, hips, and flanks with Bodytite and morpheus. I am one week post-op now, and my experience has been fantastic. I lost about 100 pounds over the years, and had a lot of loose skin that needed to be removed. Dr Haydon really took the time to listen to my concerns and recommend a good course of treatment. I consulted with a few other surgeons, some of which recommended significantly more invasive treatments for my concerns. Dr Haydon's staff, including Nurse Wanda have all been excellent. Dr Haydon called me in the afternoon following my surgery to check in which was greatly appreciated.
I'm only a week out, but my recovery has been extremely smooth and nearly pain free. From day one, I was able to get up and walk around, sit in a chair at a desk, and use the bathroom carefully but unassisted. Using Exparel seems to have really helped, because my pain has been very well controlled without the use of opioids (Though I did have them available if needed). From comparing my recovery to what I read from others online, it has been a total breeze. Am I slow getting up, sitting down, and walking? Sure, but once seated I feel about 80% as good as I did before surgery, just without a belly hanging down.
The procedure being completely drainless has been such a great thing. Other providers mentioned that I might have as many as 6 drains. I knew from the get go that this would've made my recovery significantly more difficult. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about logging fluids, holes in my body, or as I read online again and again "Milking your drains".
I know it'll be some time until I see final results, but so far I am very happy. The simple removal of so much excess skin has been a huge quality of life improvement even in recovery.
