After having 4 kids (the last pregnancy being twins) I had an abdominal separation, umbilical hernia and skin laxity.
After 6 years of visiting this site and others, I finally booked my first consult with a different doctor. Surprisingly, I walked away from that appt less than confident and with doubts as to the outcome.
At that point, I looked into a second opinion and thankfully was referred to Dr. Toy. The consult went great! He was friendly, highly knowledgeable, confident, concise and answered all my questions. I walked out with no doubt and booked my surgery date soon after.
The surgery day went well. I was in for surgery by 7:20a.m. and home before 11:00a.m.! The first week was pretty rough and it took three weeks to stand straight, which caused a lot of back pain, but in the end it was completely worth it!
... 6 weeks post op and I am thrilled with the results so far! I would recommend Dr. Toy in a heartbeat!

Amazing, would you mind sharing cost? How is your scarring?

Hi! Cost was $11,250. Scarring is pretty good so far. The belly button scar isn't really noticeable. The hip-to-hip scar is pretty purple right now, as I expected it to be, but should lighten up over the next 6+ months. It is hidden below swimsuit line, so I'm not concerned about it.
