Before and After
WORTH IT$8,100
I received my before and after photos that were taken at my last follow up appointment @ approximately 3 months post op tummy tuck. Looking forward to even more progress as I continue in the gym. I'm almost 15 weeks post op and the swelling has decreased dramatically. I have not worn a compression garment or binder for the last 1.5 weeks- not even when working out and overall, I feel great!

Just wanted to update with photos.
My scar has healed well. I am a little lazy about massaging it these days. For the most part, I am back to all activities except for full core workouts. My core is still very weak in that regard and tender when I attempt to do a strictly core exercise. I wear a compression binder when exercising.
Some areas on my stomach are still numb, particularly right above and below the scar. I will occasionally get an itch in those areas and that can’t be satisfied with scratching or rubbing.
I do swell or bloat occasionally, more so above my belly button but it is usually resolved by the next day. I also get swelling in my pubic area. I am hoping that this will resolve over the next few weeks.
Some days I love my belly button and some days I do not.
My short term goal is to get to the point of being able to do core exercises with the hope of defining my stomach muscles more.
3 month checkup scheduled for next week with Dr T. Overall, I'm really happy with the results.

Thank you! This comment made me smile. Your encouragement before surgery really helped me get to it and through it. I hope all is well with you and I hope you had a wonderful vacation :)
Your update made me smile! I feel like the holidays and family madness has made me lazy with posting. Vacation was much needed. It was painful to come back to such cold weather but glad it’s warming up now! Now the goal is to get ready for summer. :) Take care and sending well wishes toon and your family!

2 months post tummy tuck
Tomorrow marks 8 weeks since my tummy tuck and I am so pleased. I have eased back into lifting weights with no problem.
I don’t do any core exercises though because that area is still pretty sore only when I attempt to do core exercises but I have no problem engaging my core while doing lower or upper body exercises for the most part. I wear a binder while working out and I still wear the spanx during the day to minimize swelling. My swelling has subsided a lot so I don’t think I’ll have to wear the spanx as often, but was instructed to do so until my next follow up. My scars are flattening but still a little dark as I expected. I appreciate the symmetry of my scar and I am not bothered by it at all.
The main thing that bothers me is the Ken doll effect I have on occasion. It seems like the top of my public area swells at times and I feel like when wearing fitted clothing, I look like I’m tucking a penis. Lol. My husband and friends say it’s not that bad so perhaps it’s just me.
I still massage my scar once per day with vitamin E and cocoa butter oils. For the most part, I feel back to normal.

You look amazing !! Congrats. Hanks for sharing z
Thank you!
You look great! I can’t wait to get to the 2 month mark. The swelling at 3 weeks is so uncomfortable. Dr. T said I still have lots of stretch marks which makes the skin swell worse above the scar line
Thank you! I also have some stretch marks above the incision that would swell badly during the initial post op period/weeks.
I totally understand the uncomfortable and tight feeling.... but it definitely gets better and more bearable. Time flies. Happy healing to you :)
