Flat tummy!

Yesterday I got all stitches out and most steristrips removed. I’m anxious to get out of the binder- I can only fit loose dresses and leggings over it and I’m dying to wear real clothes. I was feeling very down yesterday about my body image- sounds silly after all this but I think not being able to exercise and work on the rest of my body is dampening my mood. I feel like I’ve lost any muscle tone I had- but I’ll get it back. Also a bit worried about my ‘ears’ on my hips. I asked my doc about it yesterday and she thinks it will improve with time and reduction of swelling, so I’m trying to stay positive about it. Pain is good except at night after a long day and I’m very sore.

My incision is so flat and even- hoping the scar will fade to almost invisible since it’s so high. Belly button looks almost healed already!
