Been very bloated. I work a lot and haven’t been exercising. But wow I’m still so glad. Will make time for my arms in the new year!

I’ve gained weight. But those results still look great. I just look bloated. But I had covid twice and haven’t been able to workout and I enjoy snacks. Such is life.

Hey Tiff so were you satisfied with your doctor completely?

Hmm if I had the money and could go back in time I might've went with dr arrepta in Arizona. But for the most part... it's been great and a new lease on life

It’s been two years for me and I’m still tight. Is that normal?
User Avatar

I'm not sure. I'm still very tight and numb. This may be our new normal
September 23, 2021
Same. I agree with Tiff as this may just be the new normal. Lets also not forget, that if you put a little weight in the area, its stretching, so it will feel even tighter. Hey Tiff! I haven't been on here in a while!

7 months. Numb and tender.

My skin hurts. Touching my stomach is such a strange feeling. It’s numb. Tight and somewhat painful. It only feels good if I have some sort of compression on. I still workout. Even with the gyms shut down I’ve rediscovered running and have been doing at home workouts. I wonder if this is just my new normal. I look great. I know that. But the sensation my skin feels sometimes makes my skin crawl. I guess from the nerves reattaching. Sigh.

I had my TT and muscle repair on October 23, 2019. I love the results but my skin also feels tight and I think that there is still welling, especially after working out. I was glad to see from your post that this must be normal.

Thank u for responding. It's such a strange sensation!! Glad to see we aren't alone !!

I had mt TT with lipo done Oct 3 2019 and feel the exact same wayyyyy! When someone touches my stomach or even close to it, I practically jump from the sensation. Its numb and tight and slightly painful, but not super painful, all at the same damn time! So so glad Im not the only one. Also, I had mines done in the DR and while I dont completely "bell pepper" when I sit, I always say, this could be flatter! Also, Ive gained about 10 lbs since quarantine (NYC) but still flat for the most part-all the weight has gone to my ass and thighs!

Also, I feel so much better when Im in a compression garment! Just the holding my stomach part is extremely nice. Im actually looking for one just for my tummy instead of my normal 2 fajas (complete body suit with arms and thigh compression). I cannot completely stretch out still (think yawning and stretching your arms out all the way back) and am giving myself a full year for healing before I start to really complain about things. lol

I just got done jogging. I've gained as well. Despite my working out. But yes being compressed feels so much better. As for stretching out I finally feel like I'm healed enough to engage my abs. And wow they feel so much stronger. So glad I had this done. U stay safe. Stay clean !! And compressed. Lol as for something just for ur stomach I just use a girdle/old school waist trainer.
May 7, 2020
Thats what Im ordering now-old school girdle lol. I do agree with you that the abs do feel stronger-im still a little scared to fully engage tho lol. Thank you and you stay safe as well! I actually have recovered from COVID. Mild symptoms. Hey, I live in NYC, take the train to work, and work in the hospital! I just knew I was gonna get it from day 1! Smh.

Hey!! I recovered in March!! I work in a hospital as well. In the ER. When I mentioned taking time off, the charge nurses response was "the nurses in Italy worked while positive "!! Sigh. Mine weren't mild. But I trudged right on thru. Only thing that really took me out was that dry cough. So bad at bedtime. And I would wet up my poor mask at work from all the coughing. I did take one day off because the fatigue was so bad I couldn't even move to bathe. I wouldn't wish that on anyone not even my exes. Well maybe that one ex. Lol Anywho. Yes please wait on engaging those ab muscles. No rush!!! Oh did u see the article about them deep cleaning the subways in NY?!? I think that's awesome !!
May 7, 2020
OMG yes, I remember you stating you worked in the hospital as well before! I work 3 12 hr shifts and happened to get fever the last night at work before being off. When I called to say Im ill but fever left 3 days ago, they literally was like "well see ya tomorrow!" LOL. Us poor essential health care peeps (essential workers in general actually) need some serious bonuses after this! And the whole subway thing just grossed me out...what you mean you haven't been cleaning the subway before hand? Where is my money going then?? Since my fiance is getting PAID to stay home (not jealous or anything :-\), hes been driving me to work so I'm not looking forward to taking the train again soon....:-(
Im glad that you are doing well tho! Continue to be careful, as we dont know if we can get it again n all (rolls eyes)...smh lol
But dammit we got flat tummies so we good! Summer body has been canceled tho lol

You look wonderful dear. Different people heal at different rates. It has been 12 years since my abdominoplasty, and my abdomen it still numb. Of course it no longer hurts. Congratulations. I would wear compression garments as long as possible.

Wow 12 years, it’s been 2 1/2 years for myself. I’m so uncomfortable and tight. The tightness feel like the inside of my tummy is stuck with glue. This is horrible and my left side had this same cramp for over two years. I don’t know
