Finally Getting It Done !!

My surgery is just over 2 months from now and I am beyond ready. I chose Dr.Song not really based on extensive reviews. I just came across his name at the right time. And here I am. I had weight loss surgery approx 4 years ago and now I’m ready for the flat stomach.

Update. Surgery moved up
They called me with a cancellation and I hopped on it. July 26th. My only issue is my job makes us go through a 3rd party for time off. Cigna to be exact. I’m worried about my leave of absence being approved. I guess I should also look for other jobs just in case? I’m ready to do this. Been many years in the making. I’ll deal with the fallout later.

He is double board certified. Graduated from Harvard and Emory. But his dates book fast and he’s only available for consults certain days of the week. I would go ahead and book ur consult sooner than later. I booked my consult in late April/May and August surgeries were already booked. I lucked up on this July date. Other than that he’s very knowledgeable and warm. I like him so far.

Wow how exciting!!!! You will look back and the only regret you’ll have is not having it done sooner. I Had mine done over a year ago and my life has totally transformed. My only advice is to get lots of rest, drink lots of water, and wear your compression garment for at least six weeks. Best of luck

One week to go. Second thoughts.
During my consultation my surgeon said feel free to email him. I sent him some pics of me yesterday to refresh his memory and sent him what I would like done. The picture is very modest and now I’m devastated because he said that he can’t give me those results. I feel as though I’m going to be getting a pannieculectomy results and not actual “snatching” he said one of his patients lost 50lbs and worked out after her tummy tuck. I’ve been in the gym EVERY WEEK for three years. I’m down well over 100lbs. This is as good as it’s gonna get. And here I am shelling out almost 9k. And for what. To still have to wear a girdle ? This tummy tuck isn’t just about aesthetics for me. It’s about my confidence and my mental health. I’ve been so self conscious in life and relationships and I need help. But now I’m second guessing all of this. I feel like the Dominican Republic doctors are more about the look as opposed to the American doctors. The money is spent and it’s been such a hassle getting the time off from work that I’m just going to go through with it. But I’m already disappointed. I also don’t have anyone to pick me up or help me so that’s another battle. I can hire a service but I don’t get paid until the day of the surgery. Sigh. Such is life. Ready to get it done. Then work a bunch of overtime so I guess I can get more surgery in February for round 2. at this point I don’t even want to post pictures of my results after surgery.

Well Girl, people are dying in Dominican Republic just for visiting as tourist, I would NOT jeopardize with my health and life, my friend went over there because it was cheap and she died 3 years ago at 35 she was young and full of life.... I have a liver condition my gastroenterologist stressed out how important is to not go even to FL you hear so many crazy stuff over there!!! Good luck!!!

I would suggest to remain positive. Me personally, I would rather have my doctor be completely honest about my expected results than to promise me the world and then I'm even more upset because he didn't give me what he promised. It's an emotional ride I hear post op but hang in there and please post your results. We will be here to support! Im sure you will do just fine and look great.

That photo is not unrealistic, if your body has that Frame, he should be able to get you flat, and Curves. in the waistline, don't throw your Money away, keep looking

I wish I could show you my Daughter Picks, she was a size 24, she lost Weight, had her Surgery, and yes she capture that look, but she search for awhile, for a Doctor, Checking Reviews , you need to be Happy, that's alot of money,. GL
