Almost 12 weeks post op - feeling great

MamaKeyz
WORTH IT$9,800
At some point in the past couple of weeks, I lost that “sunburn” like sensation in my upper abdominal area. It’s all very tight still, but it’s nice to not feel that discomfort anymore. Another positive step in my recovery. I am using a girdle type garment some days, but not every day unless I have excessive swelling. That still happens. Keep drinking your fluids!
The gym was much better in week 11 as opposed to going at week 9 PO. I am wearing a neoprene waste trainer so everything feels secure. Doesn’t hurt to have It. I only went one day in week nine because it didn’t feel right yet. $10k is a lot to spend to not pay attention to your body and what it’s telling you.

These photos are from yesterday morning.

Hi, I'm 5 weeks post op and having a lot of swelling. Dr tells me it will take time and I'm sure it will. But I wanted to know how you feel now that you are further down the road. Did your swelling resolve or do you still have some issues? Thx!

9 weeks p/o. CrossFit here I come!

MamaKeyz
I was released to walk on my treadmill at four weeks p/o. But this what I’ve waited for, returning to CrossFit. I took it easy on myself and didn’t load up on the weights, and I did it. I stayed away from what I knew would cause discomfort. And I did have discomfort. Thank goodness for alternative moves.
I have swelling in my upper abdomen which is at its worst in the afternoon. My corset, Rest and lots of fluids help. I am still having burning sensation in the area where I had lipo done. It’s starting to ease up though.
Pics soon.

You look great! Did your Dr say when you should expect to swelling to stop completely?

Hi there. She said everyone is different but to expect swelling to last several months. I’m 11 PO today and I can honestly say each week o feel better and better.

Feeling really good still using the compression garments. They’re going to help the final result so I’ll keep using them.
Swelling is getting better and I can do more and more every day.
