WORTH IT$11,100
I've been overweight most of my life . I was 340 lbs at my highest weight . October 2013 I had gastric sleeve surgery and it was life changing. I lost 130+ pounds initially and pardon the cliche , but I gained back my life. However , the extra skin has been a challenge . Took a little time and saved the money and I'm happy to report I'm 3 days post op from fluer de lis tummy tuck .

Congratulations on getting your surgery. I, too, have the same story. I only wish that I didn’t wait so long for the body lift.
You look great!!

I notice those are wound vacs?? I too had sleeve 240 and tummy tuck 7/2/19 174 lbs. however my healing does not look as good as yours! I produced a lot of serous fluid, had seromas (which is common in bariatric patients) and inner tunnel wound was not healing. I also realize now, recovery takes TIME!! I didn't realize it's a MAJOR surgery. I had stomach hernia and abdominal muscle tightening/stitches as well!!!! I'm just 6 weeks post-op and have been dying at home and prob doing too much which prob delayed my healing to boot!!! I also realize most "after" photos I looked at were all 8 mos. post op!!! Let's keep in touch. Especially interested in wound vac?? I was surgeons 1st wound vac tummy tuck patient!!

The wound vac is for to aid healing and prevent separation of the wound . It's usually worn for a week or so . I get evaluated In a couple days. For removal

Okay!! Best of luck. I didn't have wound vac applied til after drains removed and my body was still producing a lot of fluid and I had small opening to drain fluid manually with packing and still have wound vac now week 7. Everyone has different recovery..why so important to share! Thanks!
Congratulations on your surgery! I hope your recovery is getting off to a good start, please do let us know how you're getting on.
