4 months post op

With blood clots gone I can get my lymphatic massage. They are helping I have had 3 and slowly I am getting a tiny bit of my waist back, I have had a wide straight up and down waist this whole time. I always had a smaller waist. I am swollen much of the time (spicy foods, driving, eating and bending over does it most) and I have a bit of indention where I has the infection but the massage therapist says she probably will be able to soften it up a lot. In a couple weeks I will get a new faja. My incision-scar is healing well! I am very happy without my floppy extra skin. My lower back is not as painful as it was which is amazing! My skin isn’t as itchy and I don’t have as many issues getting jeans to fit :) so far so good I am very happy I got this done.

5 weeks post op

This is 4.5 weeks post op. I can’t have any compression due to blood clots in my legs so now I will finally start with a not too tight girdle on my waist. I feel a lot better now that the infection is gone and my incision is getting healed especially the sides. I hate being numb but other then that things are getting better quicker. It’s weird how I can itch but not feel! What?! I will say... the other day I checked my tummy out in a big mirror with great lighting and got my first huge smile! ???? I can’t wait to be able to wear regular pants with out constantly hiding that area. My apologies if I posted this I couldn’t find it.

It’s looking better. Ok so I am on the other side of a few rounds of antibiotics and feeling so much better. I am healing and the swelling is going down. However I cannot wear the faja I bought because I developed blood clots in my leg and groin about 2 weeks ago. I went to the hospital and they confirmed. I am upset because it was expensive and went from top to knees, I can’t have any pressure on my legs and groin. So any advice on what else I could do? Also on my outer thigh lipo my regular doctor says I can get a massage in that small area if I need. So I will look for someone who can do that. I notice the swelling has gone down quite a bit and the sharpness is going away
