Extended abdominoplasty and outer thigh liposuction
Extended abdominoplasty and outer thigh liposuction day 9 post op
4.5 weeks post op
It’s looking better. Ok so I am on the other side of a few rounds of antibiotics and feeling so much better. I am healing and the swelling is going down. However I cannot wear the faja I bought because I developed blood clots in my leg and groin about 2 weeks ago. I went to the hospital and they confirmed. I am upset because it was expensive and went from top to knees, I can’t have any pressure on my legs and groin. So any advice on what else I could do? Also on my outer thigh lipo my regular doctor says I can get a massage in that small area if I need. So I will look for someone who can do that. I notice the swelling has gone down quite a bit and the sharpness is going away

This is 4.5 weeks post op. I can’t have any compression due to blood clots in my legs so now I will finally start with a not too tight girdle on my waist. I feel a lot better now that the infection is gone and my incision is getting healed especially the sides. I hate being numb but other then that things are getting better quicker. It’s weird how I can itch but not feel! What?! I will say... the other day I checked my tummy out in a big mirror with great lighting and got my first huge smile! ???? I can’t wait to be able to wear regular pants with out constantly hiding that area. My apologies if I posted this I couldn’t find it.

You should use gel silicone tape on the scar it will flatten it and make it lighter and use 24 hrs for a month and then 12 hours
Your doctor should have given it to you.
It’s the best thing ever I’ve used it right after my stitches were removed .
They come in long strips and also put one on your belly button
Use surgical tape if your not using a binder or girdle (faja)
