I am having a tummy tuck after 15 years of waiting. I hope to have this skin and fat pocket gone and have a waist! A low even scar, nice high belly button. Surgery is Wednesday June 30th.
They say Paul Talbot was one of the best, and I hope he is still! Fingers crossed. I will update!

If you would please let me know how things go. if you'd like you can email me at genacarol49@gmail.com. omg I can't wait to hear from you. My biggest fear is the pain. If the pain is bad it'll drive me crazy.

Ok. So I'm 9 days po and I can tell you more about it now. Also, go on Facebook and join Go tuck yourself - tummy tucks and more. I'm on there and it has been a valuable source of info for me.
So I am taking plenty of arnica, L-citrulline, bromelain, turmeric/ ginger, and vitamin c. I got them all from Amazon. I'm also drinking several protein shakes a day with low carb and low sugar. I'm taking it as easy on sodium as I can. And also I'm taping my incision every few days and keeping the tension off of it. It is barely a fine line now just 9 days later. Almost closed, and looks amazing. No scabs, holes or infections on the main incision. I think the supplements, protein and tape have all contributed to this very very fast healing and super thin scar.

I hope you will send pictures afterwards as a follow-up & most importantly, let us know did this surgery really meet your expectations for the money/cost. Are you happy & would you do it again? Women have be honest with reviews such as, it wasn't worth it & will share pics if it was botched, & the painful the tough for the first 3 days, but started feeling better, etc..I've waited trying to make sure I find the right surgeon. Patient reviews are the best way. I know you're excited! Good Luck!!

I'm very happy and would 100% do it again. I can't say for sure until swelling is down, but maybe I would insist on flank lipo or find a dr who would include that. So many do include it.
Otherwise I'm very very happy and love being flat again!

Ok ladies. Just 1 day po here. I'll keep updating.
So far I feel ok. Some serious pain on the day of surgery but a lot easier by day 2. I'm taking bromelain, ginger, turmeric and arnica. I'll try to post a pic each day.

Yes, please try to keep us posted! I am interested in knowing how things went with Dr. Talbot. I don't know much about him. What were your starting stats, if you don't mind sharing. You look great so far!

I'm not exactly certain. 5'3 @ 150
I'm not sure my weight at the moment. But my incision looks great I'm just still swollen. A lot. My only concern is I didn't really ask enough questions.
I would have liked flank lipo but he said I just didn't really need it.
Another dr may have done it. But I also wouldn't have wanted to come out looking masculine without my curves.
I just have a high waist.
At my 1 week postop he said in 6 months if I needed revisions on the vertical scar he would be happy to do that.
:) all in all, a great result for me.

Thanks for updating! Your height and weight are about the same as mine. I've been checking out plastic surgeons in Mississippi and Alabama

I'm happy so far with my results. I do have a tiny but if necrosis at the center where my vertical scar meets the horizontal scar. I'm keeping that dry and letting it heal itself.
Dr Talbot said we could do a revision in 6 months if needed.
I'm still unsure how my belly button will turn out.
Pain is manageable but still slightly persistent.
Over all, very happy so far!

What was the vertical incision for?

I didn't have enough skin to pull down fully to cut out the old belly button. So it had to be cut out vertically and stitched up.
