I had my TT and MR with Dr Song on April 12th and I must say I was a nervous wreck. I was so scared I was literally ready to jump off the table when I laid down for my surgery, however by the time I was about to say forget it. I was awake in the recovery room. When I woke up, I was cold and super emotional. I guess I was just happy I was ok. So, I did pay extra for the esporal. I'm glad I did because I don't recall having much pain. Just super tight and uncomfortable because you cant cough or use your stomach muscles for a while. Then you have to keep dumping the drains, which my hubby did for me. I was only on the pain meds for about three days. Dr. Song was great. I literally have no complaints at all. I do get swelling and had really bad constipation so take stool softeners and wear your garment. The swelling is mostly in the evening and the constipation is going away. I'm also about 5 weeks post-op . I'm from California, so I stayed in Georgia for 9 days before heading back. On the plane ride home I just got up and walked quite a bit, because I was swelling and got someone to wheel me in wheel chair at the airport so I didn't have to walk much. It was really helpful.

Hi, thank you for sharing. I am scheduled for my tummy tuck with the Exparel 7/26 as well. You look amazing! Any other tips you would like to share? I have my moments where I get nervous too but as the days go by I’m just more excited to finally feel freedom with my own body.

Awesome, you gonna be so happy. I have been on these boards for years and I am so happy I finally went for it. The only tip I have is watch your diet after the fact. Like stay away from bread, pasta and salty foods. It will constipate you and your stomach will feel super tight and uncomfortable.

No, I had other types of Garments already so I'll wear the two he provides and the one's I had. You don't really need anything outside of what they provide in my opinion. I was wondering the same thing as well.

By the time I get home from work, I'm so ready to come out of my garment. I usually take it off about 5 or 6 in the evening and by 8 I'm swollen. I sleep in my garment though. Do you sleep in yours?

Omg I have literally stayed in them because it such an uncomfortable feeling to be out. I will say though the 2 day my swelling had been great! I have even been flat in the evening but today I ran errands with just the faja and it wasn’t op bad! I did buy the corset he recommended at weeks 2 because I was over the cincher!

I am truly happy for you. I to am coming from California. My date is I July. You look really good. I have spoke with him over the phone, he Lund’s really nice. Where did you stay?if yo don’t mine me asking. I have looked into the Airbnb,the rehab place I have not booked yet I will in a couple of days continuing my research. My body type is different you are smaller than I. You give me hope that I too can do this.

Thanks so much. I stayed at an extended stay in Duluth. It was decent. They had a big recliner which was great to sleep in and lounge in the room. I stayed 8 days. I think it was about 500.00. Good luck with everything. It’s so worth it.

Oh I forgot you will have to give yourself an injection of blood thinners for a few days.. like a real shot with a needle in your thighs. I had my hubby do it for me. If you have insurance, I think I paid like 25.00 but without, I think it’s like $300.00. Just an FYI

Hey, I saw someone else mentioned the blood thinner injections but she didn’t use them and was fine. Did Dr Song say this was required?

He did say this was necessary. I followed Dr.orders to a T, especially because I was flying home.

I had bad Lipo 2 years and 4 months ago which I wish I never should have done. I am a size 0. Now my stomach and back look bad so going to a Beverly Hills surgeon 6/20 and getting a tummy tuck and lipo in back and flanks. I hope to love my results. People think I do not need it but doing it for me. I am so scared for the pain.
