Dr. Mel Ortega Doll!!

My journey with spectrum was quick, easy and painless. I had a tummy tuck and I am so happy with it. The pain was mild as long as you stayed on track with your pain killers. I suggest staying at the premier right behind spectrum out made everything so easy. Buy low sodium No salt foods and water No Gatorade. You’ll need someone to pick you up from the clinic after surgery so make sure they get a wheel chair from the hotel. They allow you to borrow it through out your stay. I was literally rolled around the corner ???? sleep as much as you can have the person watching after you make sure your meds are taken on time and that you eat. The second and third day you have to start walking around. When you sleep I suggest putting pillows under your legs allowing your back to be flat. When you wake up it will feel much more comfortable to walk because your stomach will feel like it’s pulling. All the supplies I purchased are in my bbl review from my last surgery. And nothing is needed except hibiclense antibacterial soap. Oh and the dollar store sells hooks definitely a must for shower time. When you shower you will wash over your bandage with hibiclense. When your done showering let your bandages air dry before putting on your waist belt they provided for you. I also highly recommend you go to amazon and order medical panties they come in packs of 3 I believe order at least 10. Also buy men’s tank tops as cheap as you can find them. These two items will be comfortable and all you need unless you want to go out to shop or eat which I did I brought big light weight sweats and a baggy T-shirt to go out in. If your not from Miami you will be going home with your drains so be prepared for that because I wasn’t. However it wasn’t bad at all. I bought gauze medical scissors (burn tip with lighter) my friend cut the left drain out on day 12 of it being in there must measure under 20 of fluid in your drain. And took the right out on day 14. Nip the blue stitch using tweezers to pull it out (its painless) and take a deep breathe as your friend pulls it out then apply some pressure. You will feel a slight burn sensation once drain is out. Clean whole with peroxide or alcohol cover it with clean dry gauze and use medical take to cover gauze. When you pull the drain out you will be able to remove the tape off your incision when you do this you can start cleaning the cut like you have been doing. Air dry. From my personal experience I left my waist belt off for a few days because it wasn’t allowing my incision to heal properly. Now my scar is looking so good! On the sides you can barely tell I was even cut. My skin is flush no ripples or infections. There is redness but that goes away so don’t let it worry you. If you start seeing yellow oozing and you see your incision isn’t closed is when there’s a problem. Don’t be scared your drain whole isn’t closed right away it takes a few weeks it will form a scab and close itself. I’ll post pics. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Have a safe journey dolls ?????????
