Best Decision of my Life!!!!!!!

Affectionate5570
WORTH IT
I was 19 when I had my first child and then 22 when I had my second. Needless to say my whole adult life my stomach has always looked like balled up homework. I have been going to Dr Danyo’s office since I was 18 to get tattoos removed and such. When I finally decided that was going to make some serious changes in my life I knew I wanted to do to him. Before I decided I wanted the surgery I had to get in shape first. Sure I could have gotten it done before losing 40LbS. But I wanted to feel good about myself before I actually went through with this. I worked out for 2 years and built a better lifestyle. A foundation if you will. I got down to 135 and that was my pre-pregnancy weight and I felt so good again. My body did not match how I felt on the inside. I decided September 2018 that I was booking my appointment. So on August 9th 2019 that was my big day and I don’t regret anything. Of course with any surgery there is pain. There is a healing process, I’m still healing and it’s been 8 weeks. But those things go away. Now I’m left with a nice tight belly and nice full boobs. I got my youth back I’m 31 and I feel better than I felt when I was 21!!!!! If you’re considering this surgery please do research and make sure you’re healthy overall.
Dr Danyo’s staff were awesome I felt right at home with them.

Scar healing

Affectionate5570
9 weekS post op. I still wear my binder evry day. All day and all night. Only
Off when I shower. I suggest wearing the binder to keep everything tight. It helps with swelling. It’s irritating and I hate wearing in but the results are the reason why I keep it on.

Thanks for the advice.
I have surgery scheduled for next month.

Your results are so good! Your scare is soon faded! Do you use a faja or just a binder? I'm 12 days PO and can't fit into a faja due to swelling so I just use the binder.
Also what scar strips or ointment are you using? I haven't seen a scar as light as yours!
Thanks!

The binder only. I thought about A faja but never purchased one. And I have not put anything on my scar for healing.

Do you mind me asking what kind of binder you use? And do you wear it pretty tight?

You look amazing! Your belly button looks fantastic! I’ only 18 day po a mommy makeover and can’t wait to see everything heal and settle. Did your belly button change from the beginning up until now?
