Well Tuesday the 14th will make one year since my surgery, and while I feel that I am still healing (deep within my abdominal wall) I remain happy with results. If you are considering a tummy tuck i encourage you to explore your options and enter into it with a open mind and realistic expectations

No Regrets

As you can see I got a tummy tuck! I am currently 5 months post op, and I received a tummy tuck with liposuction. Despite the pain, cost, and travel it was well worth it. After having two beautiful girls the slim waist I once had vanished and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Cortes (Dr. Hourglass) of Houston texas for taking such good care of me. Like many, I thought that once I came from under the anesthesia that I would be perfectly flat, it was not until I started the healing process that I realized how invasive a tummy tuck really is. I am still healing, experiencing swelling (especially in the evening) but I am confident that like many of the docs. On here say that it can take up to a year before all of the swelling is gone. Hang in there ladies and let the process work!

Still experiencing some swelling....I have faith that I will ultimately achieve the results of my dreams. But if I never get any flatter i am happy!! For the ladies who feel unsure about their healing process talk with your doctor and try to exercise patients (I know how difficult this can be)
