WORTH IT
Here is a current picture of the tummy tuck scar close up. 3 months post op. Still a little swollen and numb, but everything is healing better than I expected. The scar above my navel is from my faja. It's also healing pretty well, I use a combination of coconut oil and vitamin E oil on it.

Thank you, no I didn't use silicone sheets. Hmm...I'm wondering if I should though? I wear a tank top, back board and tummy board under my faja.
Did you feel safe overall getting surgery over there? Did they speak English? And how was the hospital and nurses?
I felt extremely safe. Dr. Leon and some of the staff speak english. Make sure you have Google translate on your phone handy because that's how you are going to communicate mostly. It's very easy to use. As far as the hospital, my procedure was done in the same office and the nurses are very nice. So I was very comfortable.
Oh, and I stayed in an airbnb instead of a recovery home.
Did you have a nurse to help you at the Airbnb ? I’m scheduled for March but I may have to move it back. I am not thrilled with any of the recovery homes .

Did you have to wait long once you arrived to the hospital, day of surgery ? I am so nervous about all of it . He seems like a really nice Dr. I’m just worried about healing .
Yes I think you should use silicone sheets because though the scar looks fabulous, it is somewhat hypertrophic/raised. But check with your surgeon :)

Is it a compression tank top? What kind do you wear? I need to find one!
I had Alexandra from Dr. Leon's office. You pretty much need a nurse for the 1st 3-4 days. I would check with your doctor for recommendations on nurses.
No, I wore a regular tank from forever 21. You know those cheap ones lol. They were very comfortable

Before procedure

This picture was taken a month before my procedure in October. Dr. Leon also performed liposuction on my mid-section (front and back), fixed a nice sized hernia I had on my stomach and fixed my hips that were uneven.

The BEST Experience!

It’s been 3 months since my surgery and my results are looking terrific! My masseuse told me that she’s never had a client’s tummy tuck incision look so good! She was in awe and kept saying he did a great job on you, wow!
My experience with Dr. Leon was exceptional. He was personable and very comfortable to talk to. He and his outstanding team (Natalia, Rossmery, Alexandra, Yulissa) helped me before and after my procedure. They were there to help guide me during my stay in DR and answered questions anytime of day. Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Dr. Leon for my procedure. He made me look GOOD!!! Thank you so much Dr. Leon!
