Disappointed - He told me my stomach would never be flat

UPDATED FROM JLYo

Revision!

I just had a TT revision by a different surgeon and he’s amazing!! I did get a partial refund from the first MTT of $6600. I had my revision on Tuesday with a full TT with MR and laser lipo of flanks. I had a recheck yesterday and when they took my binder off, my husband was shocked at how flat my tummy was-you know, how it’s SUPPOSED to look!

So glad you were able to go to another surgeon to fix the first surgeons bad judgment call. I'm also glad you got a partial refund! Sorry you had to go through that ordeal twice, but at least now you have the results you wanted from the very beginning! Would love to see some before and after pictures if you care to post. Happy healing!

Disappointed

The doctor is a super nice guy; however, I’ve had different answers from him at follow up appointments. He suggested I have lipo of upper abdomen and mini tummy tuck. He took very little weight off, about 1 -1.5 lbs total. At my one week postop he told me to start vigorous exercise and not to wear the wrap at night anymore. At each appointment he would say it’s swelling. It’s been four months and there’ are not any changes since prior to surgery. I paid $10k with no results. I’m not sure what to do next. He told me my stomach would never be flat. I don’t understand why and wasn’t given an explanation. This was 2 months after surgery. I’m so, so disappointed and depressed because of it.

Go for 2nd opinions! Why did he say you would never be flat?
I wish I knew! He didn’t explain. I am going for a second opinion but can’t get in until March.

Do you have children? Most likely you needed a full tt with lipo. Very few woman can get away with a mini. Perhaps he can convert to a full tt with a discount. Or maybe you should ind a better surgeon!
I was supposed to go for a second opinion on March 2 but they had a cancellation on Monday and went to see a different doctor. He also said I should've had a full TT with MR and lipo of my flanks. Interestingly, he also was astonished at how much I paid for the mini TT with lipo because the PS took such a small amount. So glad I had the second opinion!
