Hello all! Omg what an easy experience! I'm such a worrier!! But we are always tougher than we know! Surgery time was scheduled for 8, had to be at the surgery center by 7: am. Easy process but my anxiety was out of this roof!! They all me back and I got to bring my Man with me until they rolled me back to surgery. Nurse was SO wonderful! I love when you can ask questions, as I had a lot when my mind thinks/wonders!! Vitals were taken, took a pregnancy test and say round for a bit, which actually eased my mind. Just sat there a prayed!
Dr. Spring came in and marked me up and answered all my questions and anesthesia then came in! Both were God sent! Explained to the andsthian about my anxiety and put something in my I'V and fell asleep I guess right away! Good because the OR would've freaked me out more!
Surgery was from 10:30 to about 1:15. Work up in the recovery room and she had already explained it all to my fiancée! I literally just got up and we're good to go! Pain meds were probably working that's why! Ha. My doc did add numbing agents during the surgery.. it's about 5:20 pm now and all I'm feeling is this feeling of a sunburn?
Back in the hotel room now. Is left in a wheelchair but can walk!i got up right away full straight but decided to not do that! Makes sense. No nausea or anything, just burning feeling of torches! I think I can feel where my left flank was lipoed. NO regrets!!!.
Anyways back at the hotel room. Car ride was pain free, that was another stress had, besides pain. So hard it's WAY easier than I thought.. but also chose the right doctor!!
Appetite is non-existent currently! But I'm going to stay in top of meds, as they make that stuff for a reason, if used properly! I'm not trying to brave this!
Anyways, zoning in and out! My fiancée is wonderful! He's waking me up for meds and walks and water! Thank goodness!
Tomorrow I get to see results! Follow up appointment and will be in the road home. My bday is super bowl, souls feel better by then!
I can't believe I followed though with this! I've been waiting SO long and definitely have let my insecurities hold me back most my life! New chapter, new beginnings .
Off to take a nap! I'll post pictures when I'm back up! Thank you LORD for this experience!

Today was a pretty good day! A piece of advice though, we all really need to just rest! I need to listen to myself too!! Definitely an overachiever! Pain definitely came back a bit but am keeping it under control with the meds still. Literally been sleeping all day!

Had the chance to see a bit of my new belly! And WOW!! I can see my belly button! I’m so stoked! Dr. Spring is truly god sent and is wonderful at what she does! Can’t wait to see the end result! But will be patient!!

This is me 3 days post op, right after my first shower! Showering wasn’t bad like I thought it would be. Just kept it simple and got out! Binder gets a bit annoying, but honestly, it feels so much better when it’s on! Keeps everything together and in place. Loving what I’m seeing though :) pain is pretty much non-existent t this point. Weened back on the meds and have only taking my prescription before bed. Other than that, just Tylenol extra strength. Had my first bowel movement too.. wasn’t bad. But I’ve also been taking stool softeners since 2 days prior to surgery. I have a lot of gas, can’t really pass it unless sitting down? All in all, great experience!
