My climb...

Valetta
WORTH IT$9,500
I have had 3 babies, 2 without an epidural, a hernia corrected in my groom and a partial hysterectomy. This tummy tuck was and still is the most painful bings I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never experienced back pain before in my life like his and the swelling of my skin at times is so intense I thought my skin would pop.
I had my procedure January 9th and even as I write this to you February 11th, 2019 my back still hurts and these very tight and painful lumps have formed under my skin lining from my armpit to my hips.
Driving in the car is painful and I feel every bump on the road.
I’ve spent the last 17 years of my career traveling as I’m a Director of O&T Developement. I travel 50-80% of the time and consider myself very blessed to have a job I ove, amazing people and talent to work with and get so much fulfillment out of.
I’ve literally from the time I laid belly down on the operating table watch my life go from 500mph to 5mph. I struggle to sleep comfortably at night due to pain and no position will work.
It’s been a struggle. I once read that someone said “This surgery is not for the weak hearted.” Well honestly, I not sure who could handle this alone.
I will tell you without my amazing man to place pills in my mouth (so many freaking pills), rub my feet as I cried, give me awkward sponge baths and force me to eat anything, I’m really not sure how I could have done this.
Daily it’s getting better but I have 10 top tips for anyone considering this...
10. Rent a recliners
9. Get a heating pad Incase you have back lipo. It’s terrible.
8. Stock up on gauge and the wrap around self adhesive bandage
7. Stock up on the multi purpose Neosporine
6. Have you fridge stocked and remade smoothie bags and labeled in he freezer (get a ninja)
5. Pick a Responsible Adult that is dedicated to you and can stay with you at least 2-3 weeks
4. Have a cleaning lady come in right before surgery and every 2 weeks after. People traffic is crazy and messy
3. Go on Amazon and buy the waffle robes. They are amazing and have a hood. I bought grey and navy blue
2. Make sure your Faja fits and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Go online and buy a couple more 2 sizes small (you’ll shrink)
1. Get lymphatic massage as soon as possible! I waited 20 plus days as my doctor instructed me suffered. The relief I felt after the first visit was unreal. No drug ever brought me that amount of relief. Research, read reviews and have a place ready. They sell packages. (Must Do!!!)
I’m ending week 5 but will keep you posted and answer any /all questions please just be read for a climb. My faith, strength, mental health nd personal relationships have all been tested through this process. I will never be the same Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally and Obviously Physically. Exhausted but still standing.

You looking great!!! Was your surgery done under general anesthesia? I know Dr. Mehta operates under IV sedation but not sure if it was your case since you also had a boob job.

Hello HsuDoll, I saw your question and wanted to let you know that in general, all the operations I perform are typically done under IV sedation and in my own operating room. IV sedation has MANY advantages over general anesthesia so I try not to use general anesthesia if I do not have to! Hope this helps!
