This review is for anyone on the fence about choosing this amazing surgeon, and getting a life changing surgery. I’m from Canada and I travelled alone from Vancouver, BC and got a tummy tuck, breast lift, implants, lipo, fat grafting and quantum skin RF tightening. I chose to go to Istanbul due to the massive cost savings and the hospitals there are incredibly high-end. From the start I reached out via WhatsApp and the Nurse was fantastic. Answering any questions extremely responsive. Everything was extremely smooth from my pre-planning, paying my deposit and travelling to Turkey. When booking flight home, make sure to get business class. I cannot thank Dr. Sedat enough and his nurse love and especially Meltam. I was extremely nervous to go there alone and not have anyone in the hotel for the week after the surgery. They reassured me that the majority of their patients come alone from all over the world.
They made extra time, three times a day to check on me when I was staying in the hotel after the surgery and they reached out, reached out constantly with genuine care. Even right after the surgery it was a little scary waking up being alone, but Meltam was so great and checking in constantly. I never felt scared to be there alone, and I knew I was in great hands.
I was referred to the surgeon through a friend who went and got the same procedures in December. I am eight weeks post surgery and I can honestly say my life has changed significantly for the better. My results are more than I could ever have asked for the confidence that I have in my own body now is something that no one can place a money value on. As soon as I seen the results from my friend and how seamless her healing was, I paid my deposit almost immediately.
Realistically, I would do this again tomorrow and I do wish I did it 10 years ago. Be prepared for the lymphatic massages in turkey as they are kind of uncomfortable, but the results will speak for themselves. Do your research online for things to bring to make your stay more comfortable there’s lots of posts on Reddit and Facebook groups. If you’re going there alone, I would recommend once you get to the hotel before the surgery go to the grocery store and stock up everything you want to eat for the week or else it can get expensive . Make sure to follow their aftercare instructions and continue with the massages at home. While you may be looking at other surgeons that are potentially cheaper think of this as an investment and choose Dr. Sedat. Can’t think him and his team enough.
