I had my extended tummy tuck & BBL and liposuction with Dr. Campos. I am eight days postop now, starting on my second week.I am still experiencing bruising and lots of swelling but it will go down with the lymphatic massages that I have scheduled for twice a week. Will insert before and after pictures throughout my journey.

Swelling has went down tremendously. Also moved into my second stage faja, have been wearing it for 1/2 weeks now and already on the 3rd Hook . Happy with my Results , but i'm sure alot more will change within 3 Months. I've also started driving this week and I'm using the pillow for support. Also have been dining out to restaurants and just using the pillow for support. Whatever you do . Use the pillow for the eight weeks & wear your compression garment for the eight weeks to get the best results. Also have been doing the massages twice a week. I ordered silicone scar strips from Amazon and have been using them. I'm thinking about getting a tattoo over my Scar Once it's Healed. But I'm not for sure yet I just want to see how everything heals. Within one year I will make that decision. The Faja it's annoying but you should wear it because it helps cut down swelling alot. Will be back here to do my three month update

Well done, you are doing the correct things. Forget the tattoo, my scar has disappeared over time, it is now 6 years and it is barely visible. OK, I am a male, but the feelings and recovery is just the same as you describe and you will love your 'new you'. Get yourself some sexy undrwear to give yourself a confidence boost. Enjoy the ride, the recovery is more a mental thing than you realise at this stage. Keep up the good work.

I’m going to have my tummy tuck on June 8, 2021. Any advice? What pillow are you using and what is faja lol.

Are you having liposuction as well? A Faja, is Spanish for "Girdle" it's basically a compression garment that you wear after surgery to help with the swelling. You will need a compression garment if you don't wear one you're going to have that swelling and your waist won't be as defined. I've been wearing this compression garment for almost one month now if you take a look at my before and after picture look how much my waist has changed. And the pillow I'm using is a Boppy pillow , you can get them on Amazon or at target , and when you sleep you just put your butt inside of the hole in the middle, are you also planning to get the Fat transferred as well? If you are ....you're supposed to use the pillow when you sleep & when you drive because they say you can't put pressure on your butt. Are you getting your surgery in the United States? What doctor are you going with?
