6 week update post fat transfer and tummy tuck
Lee's girlAugust 21, 2020
I am 6 weeks Post op and feeling fantastic! My tummy tuck scar is healing beautifully and am using Biocorneum on my incision twice a day. I have been biking 7 plus miles every morning with my lovely Spanx on under my bike shorts. The fat transfer is still holding up nicely. I am so happy to be buying another new bikini and feeling happy and confident in my improved figure. At my age this is as fun as it gets!! Woo hoo!!

Thanks so much Caratgirl! My surgeon Dr. Holcombe does not like to put in large amounts of fat. This time he just added 125cc’s in each breast. My first transfer he put in 100-125 cc’d in each breast. It sounds like you are pretty active and fit also. This is KEY to recovering from a tummy tuck. I found that my legs were strong so this made it so much easier to transition from sleeping in my recliner to standing and walking helps reduce swelling. For me the tummy tuck was a game changer! I would totally recommend it!!

Becky98, Thank you so much! I have been really happy with my procedures. I’ve decided that looking good over 60 takes diet, exercise and a really good Plastic Surgeon!!

I am so excited for the future! This has been almost a two year journey with 3 surgeries involved. Exercise, weight loss and the tremendous surgical skills of Dr. Travis Holcombe have made a huge difference in my life. Getting rid of my encapsulated breast implants started this journey. Best thing I ever did!! Now my breasts are lifted and look pretty darn good. My stomach is still swollen but is looking years younger. My incisions are thin and flat. PLUS the fat taken from my inner and outer thighs have added needed roundness to my breasts! I am so very grateful for this experience!! AND the best is yet to come!!!

Today I had my second post op visit. I was thrilled to finally get my drain removed! Having an Abdominoplasty as well as a Breast Fat Transfer was a tougher recovery than my previous surgeries. I am older at 61 but exercise every day (prior to surgery) and stay very active. Because of my daily bike rides and working in retail for several years, my legs were very strong. This was by far my greatest benefit to really aid in my recovery. I am super happy with my thin flat incision. I am so happy to have all the loose skin off my stomach plus a cute belly button. My breasts have gotten a little boost too! I am excited for the future and feeling confident in my improved figure!!

You will be happy with the added lipo. It will showcase your beautiful new tummy and make you feel confident and sexy!! Good for you!!
I hope you are able to keep most of the FT. How much did he put in this time?
Impressive exercise regimen as well. I try to do a brisk walk an hour a day, 30 minutes for lunch and 30 right after work to keep in shape. You're right - this is as fun as it gets, hahahha.
