BEST team! Skills and care!
WORTH IT
Hello,
July 10th I had TT and BBL surgery with Dr. Serbulent. And I want to share my story in details.
The first person I was in contact with was Metty, one of the coordinators. She was quick at answering all my questions and guiding me through everything from booking and up until travel day.
When i arrived in Istanbul airport I was picked up by the driver who then took me to the hospital for blood test and X-ray. The driver went with me the whole way through the hospital, and I felt very safe.
I then was taken to my hotel and received a message from my coordinator telling me to stop eating and drinking from 00.00 and be ready for pick up at 07.00. I was told that I would be one of the first, like I wished for.
In the morning I was picked up by the driver and then arrived at the hospital, where I met my new coordinator Gigi. She went through all the paperwork with me and explained me the procedure. Then Dr. Serbulent arrived with Dr. Hassan and the rest of the team. I was very nervous, but the confident of Dr. Serbulent made me sure that I was in good hands. He listened to my wishes, looked at my wish pictures and then drew on me. Soon afterwards I was going down for surgery.
The operation went good with no complications. The first 48 hours was rough, but the hospital nurses took good care of me and both Dr. Serbulent and Dr. Hassan came to check up on me.
After 2 nights in the hospital the driver took me back to the hotel where I had my first massage with Elvira. I loved Elvira. She was so good to me. I actually had massages booked with another company, but ended up staying with Elvira.
Day by day I felt a lot better. And traveling home on day 7 went fine. I was happy to be home with my family again.
Recovery was going good until I on day 14 start noticing that I’m a bit red and swollen on my left hip. At this point I am actually not worried, cause I’m feeling good, but still I text Gigi just to be safe. And she answer me very fast, to please get a blood test and report back to her. I go to the hospital where I live in Switzerland and they do a blood test. I am then told by the doctor at the hospital that I will need a MRI and CT scan. And that they will have to cut my hip open to take out infected flesh. She tells me that a fever will come, and that it’s very serious. She actually makes me very scared.
Through the whole thing I am in contact with Gigi and Dr. Serbulent who tells me to please come back to them instead. A couple of hours later I’m on a plane with my 4 year old son going back to Istanbul.
At arrival we are met by the driver, and at the hospital Gigi and Dr. Hassan is standing outside ready for us. Dr. Hassan takes a look at my hip, and also calls Dr. Serbulent on facetime. He explains everything to me and starts treatment, while Gigi is getting snacks for my son and making sure we are cared for.
I think it’s important to mention the fact that Dr. Serbulent and his team actually had vacation at that time. But still showed up and was there for me through the whole process.
We stayed at the hospital for 5 days getting medical treatment. Dr. Hassan visited me everyday to check up on me. Treatment was working already after a couple of days, and there was no need to cut anything open. For 5 days I received medical care and treatment at the hospital without any extra charge. They even sent lovely Elvira to give me a massage at the hospital.
I can’t express enough how deeply deeply thankful I am for Dr. Serbulent, Dr. Hassan, Gigi and the whole team. If I would have stayed at the hospital in Switzerland I would have returned home with a ruined body full of scars and a giant medical bill.
Today I am 6 weeks post op, and I have never been happier. My result is amazing, and I will never trust anyone other than Dr. Serbulent and his team.
Kind regards
Isabelle
