Five years, five stone and three c sections.
The journey began .
After a few consultations and feeling deflated and not very confidant , I decided to give it one last try .
Mr William Van Niekerk ,
This consultation was different then before he spent time understanding what I wanted,to achieve ,and let me no what would be realistic.
With 13lb to go, he said you have come so far, only a short way to go now .
This time I left with what he said in mind.
What more could I do to boost my weight loss .?
Intermittent fasting!
After eating healthy for years now what more could I do ?
Spending the days after doing more research on intermittent fasting , I decided to give it a go , and a couple of months later I’m below target and going to my pre op next Tuesday .
So if you trying to lose weight for this procedure don’t give up,.
intermittent fasting works, you will feel great, with so much more energy. Also it’s easy to maintain .

Went for my pr op today as I now have a date 7th of December!. I am exited and nervous .
Today’s appointment went well .
I saw the nurse kali she was very considerate and answered any questions I had , made me fell at ease she took some before pics which I will up load once the op is done .

Hi I went to hospital on Friday got ready to go to theatre and the operation got cancelled ,due to a family history of heart condition , which I have been in correspondence today with the heart clinic and i am clear .
I have been really worried.
So fingers crossed waiting to hear from the private clinic for a reschedule on surgery date .

New surgery date 4th jan

After my last surgery was canceled , due to family history questions i now have a new date . with a week to go and waiting so long for this roll on next week !
My family and freinds say im not myself , so looking forward to getting it done now ,as the more waight i lose the more skin I develop which makes me feel down, cant wait to feel normal again.
I would say for anybody strugling with waight, intermittent fasting has been great, and such a good tool for maintaining a healthy waight .
More before and after pics to follow , i will be posting after my surgery.
I have defently decided against hving a belly button .

It is very good but if u have tea make sure you don’t have milk in it in fasting hours and milk still effects the digestive system , so for me it works better
if I have black tea when on If when I am in my eating window I have milk in my tea .

I have been intermittent fasting for awhile now and I believe it really helps a lot. I fast at night for 12-16 hours and eat low carb and I feel better than ever an dhave lost 20+ lbs so far. Good luck on your surgery hun. Can’t wait to see your reaults!!!!

I’m now doing one 24 hour fast once per week and the rest 16 8 and doing well I am maintaining now but have lost another 7 lb since my surgery even with swelling .
