WORTH IT$18,000
A mom of 3, my first was born right after my 23rd bday, 2nd was born right after turning 25 and my 3rd right after turning 38! The third one really did a number on me, but have been thinking of doing this after my 2nd was born. Being in my 40's now I'm ready to get my body back after almost 20 yrs!

So the first two days were pretty hard. Not a lot of energy, feeling very sore and I didn’t feel like myself. I’m super happy with my scar and the size implants the dr gave me. Recovery is no joke: if I didn’t have this bag of birdseed I don’t know what I would do! My husband has been amazing at taking care of me and helping me eat, walk and keep me from being too uncomfortable. Most of my wounds have stop bleeding just one on the bottom back is still leaking fluid. De said it will stop in a few days. A lot of burning sensation in my scar on left side should hopefully go away soon. All in all everything looks really great! Looking forward to the week being over and feeling somewhat myself again.

Wait, what's the birdseed about? :) Glad to hear you're doing well all things considered. It's a slow process but worth it in the end.I'm curious, did you have any issues with coronavirus precautions? I know some doctors' offices aren't open right now.

Hi Sharon, the birdseed is for extra compression and it works amazing. The PS office was extra precautious about being 6 ft away. The doors were left open so you didn't have to touch any handles, as soon as you walked in they asked you to wash your hands, only one person was allowed to come to the appt and everyone stayed six ft away with exception to the critical staff working on me that day. They also took my vitals and temp to be sure I was not sick. They were certainly not operating at full capacity and I felt completely safe.

Day 4 wow
LLbeansMarch 30, 2020
So today I’m feeling pretty good, tired and just swollen! Went to post op appt to check on lipo incision that is still draining. PS said asking as it’s draining it’s better than accumulating fluid. I did a drainless tummy tuck so happy I don’t have to deal with drains too. It would have been so much harder. But I’m so swollen! Attached pics for our to see my incisions and swelling. Love my PS and his staff everyone has been amazing and he’s very responsive to all my questions. His work is amazing! So happy with my scars right now. Just making sure I don’t over do it and make them ugly.

Congrats on your surgery! I had my TT with Dr. Stoeckel Feb 4th and have zero regrets. Everyday is still a work in progress and healing will have its up and down moments. If I eat too many carbs or too much sugar, I will swell and one of my internal sutures will still pleat on one side near my incision. The cleaner you can eat, the better results you will have! Eat lots of protein while you are healing and don't overdo it! My first 3 weeks were a roller coaster...I am 8 weeks today, lipo spots still are tender and I am still very tight but it does get better!

Wow! Thanks for your response. I knew it was going to be a long journey but didn't realize how much the lipo would take to feel better. I'm sooo sore and swollen! I never knew I could swell this much! I told my husband I feel like I'm 8.5 months pregnant right now without the belly. Thanks for the tip about protein. I didn't eat very much at al after surgery I had no appetite. Now being about 5 days out I'm eating back to normal. The goal is to eat clean but man with this stay at home order it's been too easy to snack with everyone else.
I feel like my lipo was not as even on one side as other. Did that happen to you? I'm guessing it's just uneven swelling and our bodies are uneven but does it start to even out over time? What did you do about the swelling?

I honestly didn't either! Please feel free to check out my review/pics as they are very detailed and you can be prepped for what to expect and feelings you may experience. Its is insane how much trauma the lipo and TT cause and the swelling is very discouraging, even now being 8 week post-op. Protein is the number one healing agent post-op so I aimed for about 70-90grams of protein a day. Lots of eggs, yogurt, nuts, protein shakes, meat, etc. I agree it is very hard to be good with this order! Lol. As far as the lipo goes, I am still waiting to see my full result. There are two areas on my hips near my incision that I don't feel the fat is gone. At my 4 week appt, Stoeckel said it was just swelling but its def soft and protrusive in both areas and I am afraid they were missed spots. As far as what I did about the swelling; I took Arnica and Bromelain daily for a month, drank lots and lots of water, and wore my binder 24/7. You can follow my progress in my post and see the difference over time! During healing though it is hard to see
