Went last year after a 60lb weight loss to look into having a tummy tuck. Met with the office/finance coordinator who said that she would be doing the consult since the dr was unavailable. So needless to say she arranged the financing with another credit card that of course I really didnt need but it was the only way to pay for it at the time and said I was prime candidate (mind you this was the finance manager not the doctor). They were going to do tummy tuck with lipo on flanks. Got there the morning of surgery and finally met the doctor in time for him to mark me with the sharpie and then off to surgery we went. I was awakened (barely) and put in a wheelchair to wait for my husband.Sent me home very incoherent and I dont even remember the ride home ( which in hind sight might be a good thing). My husband was livid that I wasnt even fully awake and they were shipping me out the door. See they needed my bed for the next patient coming out of surgery. Recovery was to be as expected but not nearly as painful. I noticed as the swelling decreased and the drains were removed from my hips I had a pretty bad case of "dog ears". I kept mentioning this to them and they said it was just common swelling and would abate. I saw the dr on my second followup appt since he wasnt avail for any of the others. Finally at about 6months I said the upper abdominal swelling didnt seem right and the dog ears were horrible. I went in and saw another dr who said yes the dog ears were pretty bad and they would fix them for another 500 and do the back lipo for an addtl 3400. By this time I had pretty much lost faith in this office. Now a year later I look about 6mos pregnant and have had 3 other consults with different plastic surgeons who said there is no way that the plication or stitching of the abdominal muscles was done. One surgeon also found a ventral hernia through the fascia wall of the abdomen muscle. I was told that if plication was done it wouldve been addressed at that time ( or shouldve been at least). The third plastic surgeon said he detected at least 2 hernias that would need to be fixed by a general surgeon and to allow some healing to be done and then I will need another complete tummy tuck to suture the muscles together. I was diagnosed with severe diastatis recti and2 ventral hernias.Last week I had the hernias fixed with mesh by a general surgeon and am in an abdominal binder for the next month and cannot lift anything at all. The general surgeon confirmed he saw no signs of any plication from the original tummy tuck and would be willing to bet it was never done. The scar and lower abdominal area are really good with the exception of the huge dog ears that the other surgeons actually had to take pictures of since they had never seen such horrible results. One doctor actually said it was a good thing I wasnt his wife of they doctor might be losing his license. I did get my records from the original surgeons office ( which they charged me a dollar a page) and it was listed the doctor did plication of the abdominal walls. I am very very frustrated since I am still paying off the original tummy tuck and now will have to pay again for another tummy tuck to fix the muscle issue and not look pregnant. The other plastic surgeons said the original one overcompensated the lower abdominal and didnt address the upper abominal wall. I am currently checking into whether I have any legal recourse but I know as a paralegal student that med mal is very difficult to prove and its not like I am wanting a fortune. I would like to not have to pay for 2 surgeries when they obviously botched the first. But always do your research and check and double check and triple check your surgeon and get reviews and any affiliations with any hospitals they may work with. Dont just go with the cheapest and allow them to talk you into it right at the consultation.I wish I had done more research and I definately dont recommend First Premiere Center in Tampa Florida!

Oh, i feel for you. :( . And i am glad you posted this review to warn the women who are planning on having their tummy tuck done. I agree with the other doctor who said that he's glad you are not his wife, otherwise he will lose his license. I am for, pursuing any legal action you can file, not because of the money per se, but to teach them a lesson to do it right and not to take advantage of people who get their services. Good luck to you. Hope everything will work out well...

YES!!! STAY AWAY!! I had a procedure done there earlier this year too and I am worst off than before I started. This doctor took my nose from where I didn't like it to now I hate it. He has no explanation for it except to say no body will notice that it is now not symmetric. Are you serious? My nose is not centered and not smaller than when I started which was what I went to him for. No one will notice that it isn't perfectly straight, you have to be blind not to see it. Now I need to spend more money, time and pain to fix what he did.
They are great until they get your money, I have driven for 30 mins for a schedule appointment and was told the doctor left for the day when I arrived. No phone calls nothing. I am beyond sorry I went to them.
