Better but Not Great

Better but Not Great

I debated long and hard to write my review. Having surgery is something I had looked forward to for a long time I did my research and thought I went in with realistic expectations. I DO see an improvement but I still see a lot of flaws. After surgery I ate to protect my investment. I have been eating health. I consistently work my abs 5 days a week. I have lowered my body fat and increased my muscle keeping my body weight the same. My stomach is not flat though. There is a shelf where the top of my stomach protrudes above the bottom of my scar. I reached out to dr Miller but due to COVID I was told to wait until my 1 year apt. I did. At the appointment I was told he can do lipo for an additional 3,900 (in addition to the 8,200 I already paid)I just wanted my skin pulled tight. I can grab a LOT of skin yet. I would suggest finding a doctor that will either give you the results you want the first time or includes revisions in their cost. My reduction I have some pretty big scars. I Was excited to be able to wear tank tops etc but I’m still covered. Some with after my TT. I am still keeping things covered. I’m embarrassed for people to see my belly button. My kids said it looks weird (I agree) and the rolls are still there.

Did you have a full TT w/MR and lipo during the original sx? Did they have you wearing a faja and doing lymphatic massages afterwards? I only know a small handful of Dr that include revisions with their costs. Usually the PS will waive their fee but you're responsible for the anesthesiologist and nurses. I do agree with you and would expect a slimmer/tighter abdomen by this point of time (1 ypo+). Sorry for your bad experience and I hope you and your PS can come to some type of resolution to correct this matter.

Full TT w MR. he only has me wear a binder. He never recommended massage of any sort after surgery. I saw him for my 1 year post op apt. His suggestion would be 3,900 for lipo. I don’t have 3,900 for lipo. I saved for years for the original procedure.

I was looking t you pictures thinking we are pretty similar before. I have had 2 breast augmentation w implants an extended tummy tuck, had another child, had weight loss surgery and ended similar to your before. I go April 5 for another extended tummy tuck, Lopo, breast augmentation and lift. The upper stomach is a problem area now and was after my first tummy tuck. I don't see it in your pictures though, you look amazing!

You definitely did not get what you paid for. I KNOW that is just emotionally painful. I'm so sorry. With a TT your stomach should be flat as a pancake. It does not look like you need liposuction. It looks like you need the skin cut. Ugh. That sucks. I've had 3 body surgeries. I KNOW how hard they are. And too have them not turn out great is mega disappointing.

Thanks. I just hope that others who are considering it in the area do their research and get what they are hoping for. Lesson learned on my end :( I would by lying if I said I didn’t cry over the results some. It is what it is. If I ever win the lottery maybe I can get a revision. You’re right though I didn’t want to expect “snatched” I just wanted flat.
