I can’t believe this new body is mine, it’s so perfect it doesn’t always seem real!

A long overdue review! 15 years ago, I lost about 80 pounds (I am only 5’0). It left me with excess skin no matter how fit I was and how healthy I ate. I have went back and forth about getting a tummy tuck for several years now. I admittedly talked myself out of it so many times. This past February I was finally ready to go ahead with the surgery. I scheduled several consultations. Dr Zuckerman was my first consult. After my first consult with him, I knew he was IT. Every single instinct and intuition of mine said to go with him. I actually cancelled all my other consults scheduled and booked with him 24 hours later.

I am now 7 weeks post op, and I feel grateful I went with my gut. I could not be happier with my results. First of all, Dr Z is a breath of fresh air. He never pressured me about anything (for example not adding things onto the tummy tuck, I didn’t want lipo). He has a witty sense of humor which I love and I always felt so comfortable with him. His staff is absolutely amazing! I would hang with these women outside of that office, they are that great. Nafija, Mimi, Melisa are the best women around! There are some others I met day of surgery whose names are slipping but were all great. I always felt at ease and have shared many laughs with the staff. Right before surgery, I did break down crying on the table, admittedly missing my mom who couldn’t be there and Nafija comforted, something I will never forget! Recovery for me wasn’t too bad. I felt pretty strong and I think being as fit and healthy going into that survey is key for healing. I can’t believe this new body is mine, it’s so perfect it doesn’t always seem real! LOL! I have recommended Dr Z to so many people, people who have told me this is the best work they’ve ever seen. He knows what he’s doing. I think my new belly button might be my fav part. I haven’t had a “normal” looking belly button since I was a kid due to weight struggles.



About 5 weeks post op, I decided I trusted Dr Z so much that I wanted to get eye fillers. I was not disappointed! I would say it took about 48 hours to see optimal results but I’m so happy I got them. I will be back for them in 8-9 months. I want to personally thank Dr Zuckerman and ALL of his staff for all the wonderful things they do outside of great surgery. They truly go above and beyond.
