Awful Experience. I have never been this miserable in my life

 I have contacted an attorney and I hope they take my case. It is hard to prove malpractice- especially in Miami. The Dr called me himself last Wednesday (3 1/2 months after surgery) and asked me to fly to Florida so he can take a look and do a possible revision. However, I do NOT have the money to fly out, stay at a hotel, and pay whatever costs are associated with a revision. Plus, why WOULD i go back there after all this?? He denied my request for a refund, but asked several times for me to edit my review. Unbelievable.

I have posted on Facebook and Instagram, and will keep posting until I get some resolution from this awful place!

Here is my story:

Like every woman that gets plastic surgery, I was feeling terrible about my body. I swear I thought I did the research correctly and found Xiluet through other online reviews. I called to schedule and asked for Dr. Magic Mike. I was told by the coordinator that she would suggest Dr. Benjamin Liliav as he was double board certified and would perform a BBL, liposuction, and tummy tuck in one procedure. I was so excited. I booked my trip to Miami with my boyfriend. I was told I would not be able to see my doctor until my consultation (which was one day before surgery). After waiting over 3 1/2 hours, I was finally called back to have my pictures taken and pay for the procedures. I was told that the Dr was in surgery and could not meet me. I was very disappointed and upset as I have never had any procedure done without first meeting a doctor/surgeon. But I had paid, and already was in Miami from Denver.

I had no clue what time my surgery was going to be until the NIGHT BEFORE when I received a text that it would be at noon the next day (4/21/21). We arrived at Xiluet and waited over 2 hours for me to be called back. Dr. Liliav finally came in and marked me up. He told me that he would not be able to do chin lipo because I would need a full neck lift. I told him I had already paid for the chin lipo and he said he would take care of that, not to worry.

---- btw, I had paid for ETT, BBL, muscle repair, and 14 areas of liposuction (including lipo 360). The front desk gave my boyfriend a couple of prescriptions.

I was taken back to surgery, and very rudely woken up after by a couple of nurses that didn't speak English. The lady next to me was almost screaming in pain. I was begging them for something warm, as I was shivering. I was completely ignored, then wheeled out to the rental car my boyfriend was driving. He said they didn't say anything to him, and loaded me in the car. They did not advise him that my back was bleeding heavily, which soaked through my dress and all over the passenger seat.

Miami was "out of" percocet and I went through that first night in excruiating pain.

I had a post op appointment the next day and lymphatic massage. Again I was told I would see the dr, but I did not.

The rest of the trip was a blur due to the pain. I was able to see my body and assumed my lack of results were from swelling, but I did notice a fat pocket on my butt. I tried to get in touch with Xiluet and never heard from them.

Once I got home, and the tape fell off, there was a horrible stench coming from my TT incision. I looked and noticed it was white, and coming open. I tried to get a hold of Xiluet and never heard back. I went to my regular dr, who did a culture and was absolutely shocked at what my body looked like. The results came back with flora and a staph infection. i was prescribed antibiotics.

Several days later, no improvement. I went to the ER, had a CT scan and blood drawn. More antibiotics prescribed. I was referred to Wound Care. (keep in mind that this incision was leaking, I am covered in gauze, and I still had one drain in my left hip which was also infected).

Wound Care has been amazing. I had a surgery to debride all the infected tissue, and a wound vac placed. After I healed enough from that, I had a skin graft. Last week, I "graduated" from wound care, thank God.

I have paid over $7,000 out of pocket for these surgeries and care. I believe Xiluet used unsanitized instruments.

But, even more than that, my results are horrible. I look almost worse that I did before spending all this money at that awful place. I have fat necrosis in my butt, my stomach is still fat and hangs over my pants. There is no way they did 14 areas of lipo and muscle repair and I still look like this!!

I deserve some resolution, I deserve some help. The pain and depression, missing work, and going into debt has broken me. I have never been this miserable in my life and I 100% blame Xiluet.

Ladies, PLEASE reconsider going here!! I promise that I am not the only one that has suffered!
