Started my research years ago and after thorough research I decided to go with Dr. Stratis. First and foremost, my decision and journey started in 3/2019 when I knew I was not having any more children and I would be able to keep up with the results.
I understood that the following procedures were for me, as stated above I had four children and as we all know with age our bodies change, so I felt I needed a boost into a new journey. My decision was based on how I felt on the inside and wanted the outside to coincide with my personality.
My first procedure was 3/2019, it consisted of muscle tightening, tummy tuck (pulling of the skin) Liposuction of the muffin which we all know the location of the horrid muffin fat and liposuction of my back.
As stated above I did lots of research and I had realistic expectations as we all have different body shapes. However, my hip to rib is very close (I was not blessed with the long torso) However, Dr. Stratis and I discussed this and what I was looking for and hence is why I went with the liposuction in those other places to give me the shape I wanted.
If you are thinking of getting a Tummy Tuck, please get Liposuction in the following areas I did, It looks better if not you end up with a flat tummy and fat bulging from other places, if your going to do it go for it and get it right, skimping on liposuction is going to leave your unhappy and you really cannot blame anyone else. So save your money and go for it.
I have to say that Dr. Stratis although serious when you first meet him is absolutely a GEM and I mean that, he is very personable and professional and above all for me he made me feel comfortable and I know he has had my best interest at hand from the very beginning.
My research extended from New York, Philadelphia, Maryland and I had consultations however, I have a sense of when a Dr. Is trying to make money and not listening to what I am asking with that said in my opinion he is priced right if you take into consideration that if you leave the area you will have to pay for the trip elsewhere, hotel, follow up, gas, food etc. In the end it adds up and if anything goes wrong well you have yourself to blame for being cheap.
Many said I could have gotten this done abroad, I am going to have to say that was never a choice for me nor would it ever me. I feel here in the US things are more regulated than if I go elsewhere and I rather pay for someone who focuses solely on the Body and specializes on it. I would even go to say that I almost lost a friend who decided to leave the country to save money and ended up hospitalized for four months and spent a mint when it was all done.
To that end overall, I love the staff and yes I am a frequent flyer for other things so they all know me and although I do not work there I feel as if I belong there and they all know me so I fit right in and I rather support our local business when I know I am getting crème de la crème service from everyone.
Remember: THIS IS NOT FOR WEIGHT LOSS! IF YOU DECIDE TO DO THIS COMMIT TO IT, YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT IF YOU DO NOT TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
YOU WILL BE EMOTIONAL AFTERWARD, DONT LOOK IN THE MIRROR YOUR HEALING, BE PATIENT THE SWELLING WILL GO DOWN AND IT TAKES A WHILE, PURCHASE A FAJA AND WEAR IT EVERYDAY, CUT YOUR SWEETS, DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND WALK. DONT STAY IN THE BED, YOU MAKE THINGS WORSE FOR YOURSELF AND YOU WILL FEEL STIFF.
After surgery it is normal to be anxious but this will pass, go outside and walk it out, you will be happy you did and above all things do it for you and don't compare yourself to other women on social media who are air brushed.
I will do my other reviews of my buffalo hump liposuction (upper back neck hump) and cellulite removal with Celfina next.

You look amazing! I consulted with Stratis, but ultimately went with Dr. Shermak in MD. How is your swelling? What Faja are you using?

You lucked out then. He fixed a botched procedure from another board certified surgeon & my only solution was either to be cut from hip to underpit on both sides or a lower body lift. Much like you I did my research. My incision was great & my belly button fix. But I've had problems since 7 months post op. I have been left with nerve damage. I was an athlete & squatting 245lbs before I had this procedure. Surgeons become dismissive & rude. I'm now left uneven on my right side. My left sits normal my right doesn't my swelling increased & rather then help he implied I was gaining weight, it was my age & hormones. I didn't gain weight at that point. I was told modify modify modify training. Yet, I kept saying something was wrong. The nurse assistant Ashley is horrible. Sam was great & the office . But Ashley...she's rude, would talk over Dr stratis & when I called in to update them after I finally did get my neurology apt ( it took over a yr & a trip to Hopkins) & getting a good nuero in Hershey who ran test others didn't. Ashley goes you " got your answers". Me, no I didn't. I never had my last follow up because I have to keep chasing down help. No surgeon will help me because of this. 3 yrs later & my life is destroyed. I went in to my original tt asking about pannus removal. I was a size 0, but had loose skin. I was told I needed a tt. That surgeon messed me up. Then to go threw it twice & start out ok then feel blammed & like a Dr doesn't care. I do agree he is skilled. But there is no reason I should be dealing with femoral nerve damage when it's listed at 1.03%. I'm so tight in my stomach that I'm still having issues. My lateral femoral cutaneous nerve is messed up & nerves in my stomach ( oddly not what I spoke to nuerologist about) my scar sits near my trochanter & I have pain there as well as my pirformis muscle. I can't lay on my right side since or even sit on my butt without pain. So, while I'm glad yours is ok. I'm one of the ones who isn't & I'm out over 30,000 between two surgeries & gave lost 5 yrs of my life & no longer even drive. Because of how long it's taking to even get someone to help me I can't even post my story on real self to share with others. My cousin saw him 2 weeks before me & her tt was fine but for a lower body lift... Id reconsider it. I had 2 options I chose what was the best but these days... I just want a Dr to even help me. Yet.. the medical system abandons & gaslights you & your surgeon won't help you after awhile..at least that's my experience with them.
