Hi all, I am now about 18 months status post Timmy tuck with MR. I am very happy with results except I wish I’d done liposuction with this procedure. My upper stomach is still not as flat as I want it to be. I know they can’t lipo this at the same time anyway so I’m going back for this in August. People have tried to convince me to see their doctor but I love Dr. Rodriguez and his bedside manner. He gave me a quote last year that is good for life!! I can’t wait to see more results from this surgery that changed my appearance so dramatically. I will update in August!

I'm 9wpo tomorrow! Can't believe the time is flying by! I'm feeling amazing and stomach is looking great. That crease i had is almost gone just like he said! If you're looking for a doctor in Baltimore, consult with Dr Rodriguez, you won't be disappointed! I know I'm glad I found him on real self!

You do look great! How's your swelling now and are you limited doing your aerobics workout? Are you still wearing the CG? I'm scheduled with Dr R in March so glad to hear first hand how your recovery is progressing. Any words of wisdom please do share.

Wear your garment, stay on top of pain, use bromelain, arnica and tumeric tea for swelling. See if your insurance covers ultrasound therapy. I’ll be starting that this week. Use abdominal swelling and pain, not surgery as the referral reason. Train your belly button if needed.

Hi...how's the swelling now and how did ultrasound therapy work out for you?
February 12, 2020
Thank you! Swelling is not bad at all! I wear tight compression for workouts and looser during work. I sleep without it now.

Thank you. Not sure what train your BB entails..Is the ultrasound therapy to reduce swelling or lingering pain? Will you get this done at Dr Rs office?

There are several suggestions for keeping the belly button open and round. I used an earplug. Dr R suggested using a marble but i couldn't figure that out. Ultrasound is to reduce swelling and for scar.

I’m 4wpo, still having swelling of course. Dealing with some scar tissue at the incision from previous surgery but incision has healed. Back to light aerobics and felling almost no discomfort, only if really swollen.

Congrats on your surgery and recovery. You do look amazing. I am exactly three weeks op from my tt today. While I am almost walking straight my stomach is still super tight and I am unable to straighten all the way. When were you able to straighten completely?
January 22, 2020
Thank you! I was standing straight by week 4, was 90% by week 3. Happy healing! I had muscle relaxants after surgery, that probably helped.

Ok. I was given muscle relaxants but only took them as need during the first week as I was having horrible muscle spasms. I never thought to stay on them. I am standing straighter everyday, but my stomach is so tight it prevents me from being completely straight. I so which the advise from the surgeons were more uniformed. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that’s why I joined the tummy tuck support group on Facebook. I’ve learned more from them on some things but Dr Rodriquez is very thorough.
