Asymmetry—Now Seeking Corrective Care
Queenie2529August 2, 2025
I had surgery with Dr. Vann in September 2023 after expressing concerns about uneven hips. Post-surgery, I noticed my hips were still visibly uneven, and my back was not liposuctioned evenly—one side clearly has more fat than the other. When I brought it to Dr. Vann’s attention, he dismissed it as if he didn’t see any difference, despite it being very noticeable.
I later returned for a follow-up consultation, and this time he acknowledged the asymmetry, referring to it simply as “fat,” and quoted me $7,000 to correct it. I found this response dismissive and the quote unreasonable, especially considering these were issues resulting from his original work.
I’m now actively searching for a new doctor to correct these mistakes. One of my hips has a prominent bulge—like a handle—compared to the other, and my back has an obvious unevenness that’s affecting my confidence. I literally try to avoid looking at my body because of this issue, and it has taken a serious toll on my self-esteem.
