You look amazing!! Exact results I'm looking for I'm 175 Lb, 5'2 post partum 12 months after 3 c sections. Totally love your results. Where did you order the faja from? Did you ever make the list of things you couldn't live without
Seriously so glad I did this, thank you so much!! I ordered faja from amazon along with these top items: XL Sonryse 25 S86 BBL Faja Garment After Surgery Post Liposuction Compression Garment. I’m so short my torso is not long so most every other faja I tried was like top 4 rows of hooks went over my boobs. I tried like 7 fajas before that one. Seamless tanks for under faja! M&D butterflnab board, foams. Need these to put in faja. Compression socks -charmking on amazon!! The ones my doc had cut into me bad! Homedics Hot/cold massager as I was not able to pay the massage prices local to me 3xa week! ZenBamboo legrest pillow***** THIS IS A KEY COMFORT ITEM!!!**** especially for people who don’t have a power recliner! This saves so many pillow frustrations JUST GET ONE! I bought a chair for recovery but ended up moving to my power recliner couch cause I underestimated how nice it was to be able to stand up myself!!! Literally 3+ weeks of not standing without help. Removable shower head- taking bird baths for weeks this makes a big difference! PStyle peeing thing I used for the first few weeks- it was so much better than all the other “tricks”. SO easy with a faja!! Advice: smush that thang against yourself to make a seal- That’s why ladies have issues with peeing assist items. Hot/cold gel packs/heating pad for your lower back from hunching/bending! Walker- I could go pee myself in 3ish days with the walker and the pstyle. It took a while but worked!! Look in second hand shops for a walker- way cheaper. I love HealFast pre/post op vitamins, bio oil for scar, lavender/tea tree for scar(all oils only after 5weekspost op w/incision closed) Cica Tape silicon tape for scar therapy, Ultima replenisher powder lemonade- it’s like actually delicious Gatorade. So nice to not just have water. Some different teas are pleasant to have on hand too. I used Herbalife vanilla shakes w/almond milk for meals first few days. Kirkland stool softener and take these things starting 3xa day/two weeks before surgery until after surgery when you are pooping regularly. TRUST THIS ADVICE. Buy gentle suppositories Incase because this can’t be overstated... it is terrible to not poop after TT/MR. Basic mastectomy shower bag- amazon also. Drain holder is crucial. This one is big and you can’t forget its there and sit on it like others. Lol Finger pulse ox and thermometer. medication chart or Med box... I messed up my meds the first few days and it sucked. Good luck!!!
Omg thank you!!!!! This was so much information. I really appreciate the advice and tips. Do you have a six Instagram where you post your story?

Week 3 Post-op wow!!

This is a long recovery- I underestimated how tough it was for sure. I wake up stiff and hunching and compression is a pain. But drains finally out!! Trying to learn to dress again without a mommy stomach.. belly button is a little pink but I was reassured it’s healing. This whole journey has helped me regain so much of myself. I sleep through the night for the first time in 5 years after two babies in a row, spend actual time on myself and have improved my diet and health.

Dr. Z and his staff are absolutely great. Front desk is so kind and polite. I really am so grateful I chose this office and group for surgery. Nurse Jessica is so knowledgeable and helped me so much I feel so much better than last week. Pics of dressing in actual clothes without hiding ????????

Pants.. and progress

I put on pants today and don’t even know how to express the joy of looking so flat. Still have drains in the drain holder I bought (best thing ever btw) so it’s not over yet but today at 10dpo I feel like a new person!

I called to ask about the drains when waking this morning after one drain tube came off somehow for bout 30seconds until I reconnected it so I was concerned about sterility. The surgeon’s in office nurse Tally who is super knowledgeable explained that it happens however the drain system is one-way suction and it flows one way so it will be fine. Then I asked about drain removal and I learned you must have less than 20cc drainage in 24hours per their postop care for drain removal.

That’s fine by me but likely another week w/drains. That prevents me from buying soothed cause it’s just a pain dressing with them. The alternative is maybe accumulating fluid and that’s no fun as I’m swollen just from walking outside in the heat.

My correctly sized faja has finally arrived and I’m going to try it on and compress the heck outta my upper abdomin where it’s swollen!

Later on I am going to post some pics of the items I couldn’t have made it through the last 10 days without.
