Tummy Tuck and Flanks Lipo - 38 years old

I am 38 years old mom to 1 child. I am 6 days post op from tummy tuck and lipo to flanks. I am draining pink fluid by now and have moved from percocet to tylenol for pain management. I feel mostly pressure from my binder but also a relief that I have it on because I feel supported in my belly area. It feels weird not to have it on. I have 2 drains in place draining pinkish fluid. I have been sleeping on a recliner chair with my feet elevated. I have been going for walks around my neighborhood and have gradually improved my posture by tucking in my tailbone and squeezing my shoulders blades. Overall I feel good. When there is pain what I feel is stinging around my wound and when I cough or laugh the muscular wall has soreness. I haven’t removed the tape from my wound for fear of being disappointed. I plan to clean it today and may update on the appearance. There is still bruising in the lipo area and some skin irritation. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow to see if my drains can come out.

Drains are out. Tape is off from incision. Had my first lymphatic massage. Drain removal didn’t hurt but felt weird. Massage was light and painless. I did notice the numb areas on my abdomen. Stitches still haven’t fallen off. Overall feeling better, stronger and freer sans drains. Feeling impatient with the swelling and not being able to stand up straight. Im adding photos because although I am feeling very self conscious and not sexy, other members stories and photos helped me make a better informed decision and gave me a visual of what to expect so here goes...
