I spent months researching surgeons before choosing Dr. Jaime Flores. Like many people, I came across both positive and negative information, and I took the time to look into everything carefully. Everyone’s experience is different, but this is mine. In the end, I made my decision based on my own research, my consultations, and the importance I place on safety.
My experience with Dr. Flores has been exceptional.
Dr. Flores is confident, highly skilled, and focused on delivering excellent surgical care. What mattered most to me wasn’t constant reassurance—it was knowing I was in capable hands. He gave me that confidence from day one.
What impressed me most was that even after surgery, every time I had a question or concern, he responded. He even took time out of his busy schedule to meet with me personally just to reassure me. That level of professionalism and commitment gave me tremendous peace of mind, and I never felt abandoned during my recovery.
I also want to say something I believe is important: surgery is only one part of the journey. Once you leave the operating room, your recovery becomes your responsibility too. Be honest about your medical history, follow every instruction, wear your compression garments, attend your lymphatic massages if recommended, stay hydrated, eat properly, and don’t neglect your post-operative care. I’ve spoken with several lymphatic massage therapists who have shared stories of patients not following instructions and later blaming their surgeons for complications that could have been prevented. A successful outcome is a partnership between a skilled surgeon and a responsible patient.
I genuinely love my results, and if I had to make this decision again, I would choose Dr. Jaime Flores without hesitation. I am someone who values safety above everything else, and I truly believe I made the right choice.
