What an Amazing Experience in Bangkok

The hospital and hotel nursing teams were exceptional, keeping my dressings immaculate and using translation apps on their phones to easily bridge any minor language gaps.
For my surgery, support person, and hotel accommodation, I paid $22,000. Which was a "win-win for me as i got a holiday and got the surgery of my dreams".
Back home in New Zealand, for the surgery alone I was quoted up-to at least $40,000 to $50,000.
Today, I am 9 weeks post-op and down 30kg total (20kg from my pre-op lifestyle change and 10kg since surgery). My stomach is getting flatter and firmer every day. I'm already back in the gym doing light training and stretching, focused on the confident woman I am becoming.
My advice? Work out before your surgery to aid recovery, and don't let negative internet stories scare you!
