Dr. Shokrian’s craftsmanship is truly beautiful, and I would like to start by saying how grateful I am for the entire team at Millennial Plastic Surgery.
From the very beginning, the staff worked with me countless times regarding my payment plan and, more importantly, made sure I was in the healthiest condition possible to have a safe and smooth surgery.
Barbara was absolutely amazing. She was always on top of everything and made sure I received the information I needed throughout the entire process. Linda also played a huge role in my care and made my health her number one priority. She was thorough with my pre-operative care and made sure everything was properly addressed to help ensure a safe surgery.
The entire team at Millennial Plastic Surgery makes you feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Everyone is kind, professional, and willing to explain anything you need clarification on.
One of the things I really appreciated about Dr. Shokrian is that he is realistic and focuses on realistic goals. He prioritizes safety and does not promise unrealistic results or remove excessive amounts of fat just to achieve a certain look. He focuses on what is medically and legally appropriate while keeping the patient’s safety first.
I had a tummy tuck procedure, and honestly, I was amazed by my recovery. I came out of surgery with very little pain. My first day was manageable, and I was able to walk around without major issues. By day four, I was able to shower and take care of my drains without pain. My pain was so well controlled that I was able to stop taking prescription pain medication and manage with Tylenol.
I am now four months post-op, and I am extremely happy with my results. My incision looks great. There are already areas where the incision has completely faded, and the darker pigmentation is no longer noticeable. My belly button looks very natural, which was very important to me. Overall, everything looks natural and beautifully done. I still have a little swelling, which is completely normal during the healing process, but nothing that concerns me.
The biggest thing I learned through this experience is the importance of understanding your own body type and having realistic goals. You have to want to look like the best version of yourself rather than trying to look like someone else.
That was my goal from the beginning, and Dr. Shokrian gave me exactly that — and more.
