Amazing!

I am a US board certified physician and was in search of the best surgeon who could perform an abdomioplasty to get rid of my mommy Pooch/C-section shelf and fix my diastasis recti. I consulted with a couple of well known plastic surgeons within the US, and while I was in the process of choosing the right surgeon for me, one of my physician friends told me about Dr. Rajat Gupta and spoke very highly about his practice. I went ahead and booked a consultation with him and was highly impressed with his knowledge, skill set and patient approach. His team was quick to send across all the information including the pricing, which was so much more affordable and the results seemed on par. So, i flew into New Delhi to meet him in person. I was initially weary after landing in New Delhi, and was concerned for the safety and sterilization standards, but honestly, when I entered the plastic surgery suite at Dr. Guptas Excel hospital I was rest assured as the standards were world class. Since I had some pre existing medical conditions, Dr. Gupta recommended the surgery to be performed at CK Birla hospital, which has advanced care facilities, where my surgery was eventually performed. The infrastructure and cleanliness of this hospital too was on par if not better compared to many US hospitals. Dr. Gupta is well connected with many renowned physicians in the area, and was quickly able to form a team of expert physicians and anesthesiologists who were experienced in treating patients with my medical condition. With so much support and care, I confidentky went ahead with the abdominoplasty, 360 liposuction and fat transfer to breasts. I was admitted to the floors for 3 days and Post surgery care was phenomenal.
-I came out of anesthesia gently and the pain was well controlled with non narcotic meds.
-Well trained, approachable and always available nursing staff who would check up on me often.
-I was very glad that I met my operating surgeons daily during my hospital stay as there were two separate rounds by Dr. Gupta and by Dr. Gaurav Chaudhary from his team. Both were very patient in answering all my questions, and guided me through the recovery process. This frequency of direct interaction with the operating surgeons would not have been possible in the US and I was so glad i choose this team for my surgery.
-Made to fit custom tailored compression garments were provided to me which were of excellent quality and comfort. I had taken a couple of Fajas from the US but I didn’t even use those as they were a lot more uncomfortable compared to the ones provided.
-After discharge from the hospital stayed at Shamnath villa in New Delhi, which was a place referred by Dr. Guptas team. The host is well experienced in post surgical care necessities. I was provided clean rooms, nutritional custom made home food, and also in house help for personal care. And the total daily pricing was economically priced at approximately around 70$ including meals.
-They provide excellent lymphatic drainage massages at the Excel hospital which were very helpful and can be availed at a daily basis.
-Follow ups post discharge were with the operating surgeons and not assistants, which was reassuring. Even after I returned home, I had follow up video visits with Dr. Gupta.
-The coordinators and staff are very helpful and friendly. They are easily approachable and available to refer my queries to Dr. Gupta or Dr. Chaudhury and revert back to me with answers.
-The surgical results are phenomenal. The incision is well placed, sutures are well done and my belly button looks good with sutures that are hidden inside, so I m hopeful that they will heal with minimal scarring. I am very happy with the lipo contouring and I honestly think Dr. Gupta is an artist!
Overall, I am extremely happy with the results and I am currently in the best shape of my life. 100% recommend Dr. Gupta if you are thinking about plastic surgery.
