Age 47, pre-diabetes, apron belly - 6 months post-op & well treated

At 47 with pre-diabetes and with a large apron belly I was concerned I would not find a doctor who would be able to give me what i needed. I wanted to come back alive and improved and I got both. What really sticks out for me is how vested Dra Baez is with her patients and how well she took care of me. My only issue is my drain came out on its own when I returned stateside and I got a seroma even though I was following up strictly with massages and compression. I can’t blame her for that- my body just rejected the drain. As a result, I had to see a specialist stateside and get a new drain put in that stayed for a month. I am now almost 6 months post op and I am contending with swelling and achiness. My massage therapist told me I lost a month of recovery and for me it’s just going to take a bit longer but I’m ok with that. I’m already planning my round 2 because I do need more hips, laterals and bbl.
