Feeling a lot better still a little swollen in abdomen and hip area but I can stand almost completely straight. Took my binder off for my check up and my core felt stronger than the last time I sat without it on so I know I’m making progress. One more week until I can transition into a spanks type garment instead of my binder and I can take my Steri-Strips off next week and start putting my scar gel on. I can also start doing light working out next week. Do you do swelling my bellybutton still looks rather small but it should widen once the swelling goes down if not my doctor said maybe in a month we may discuss putting in some type of little marble or something in there to keep it open if it doesn’t look like it’s opening by itself.

Tummy Tuck 5 Days Post Op.
I’m a 37 yr old mom of 2 children and have been overweight my whole life. I’ve always had a mommy apron even before I was a mom. I’ve gained and lost weight more than I can remember and it left my body with so much stretched out skin and stretch marks I’ve finally had enough.

Any more updates, looks incredible to me
I think it looks really good
Looking amazing. Happy healing x
Look great! Any updates or pics? I have mine upcoming 5/20, and we have very similar tummies.
No updated pictures since I still can’t stand up straight yet and I don’t like being without the binder because it feels like my stomach is going to slip off it’s a very weird feeling without the binder.
You look so good! Congratulations! How has the pain been?
I had a pain pump that did a great job of keeping my abdomen numb. I did start to feel the tightness of the incision stitches every time I get up making me walk very hunched over but nothing I can’t handle. I took a few Tylenol at instead of my prescribed pain killers. I’m more uncomfortable from the itchy binder than anything. I did have fever for about 3-4 days ranging from 99.5 to 101.7 because I wasn’t taking deep breaths and my lungs were filling with fluid.
